I haven't seen the state of the pitch but heard it being slated by talksport when I was driving. What I will say is, surely the club make some extra money from hosting these events. Putting out a poor pitch isn't a great look if you want to host more opportunities like this.

In the current world of PSR and our own situation we need to make the most of any extra opportunities to earn money not throw it away to other clubs that can host events like this.

Plus from a club POV it just allows more negativity to spread thats completely avoidable.

The pitch looks awful.

They really don't care.

Been voted the best pitch in the past. I've played on better park pitches than that ffs

Is the first game tomorrow 🤔

We were one of a few clubs in England willing to host game as it meant using last years pitch

Thought more interesting no senior people from the club at the game, not sure if usual

No.

But it was live on tv for the nation to see.

Next you'll be saying it was only a women's match.

As @Bert said, there was a disease in the grass, not sure what people expect.

There is more than enough to berate the management at the club about, but this ain't another one.

The pitch will be in perfect condition come the 3rd August.

You’ll probably find they are not that many grounds who willing to host the game so deep in the summer. Others prioritising gigs or pitch work. Given the weather of the last three weeks, it’s not a surprise it’s not in great condition.

That said, excellent event yesterday. You can tell England are so much better at presentation than LCFC

Nah.  I am not sexist and why you would come out with that stupid comment is beyond me.  Suggests that you are.
