Yes, defensively Jannik has always been a bomb scare, just under Enzo, he was able to offset the risk by sitting and pinging balls, defensively was still a liability.

Souttar is an interesting one I agree.

Faes and Jannik can’t help but piss around until the last second then offload the press to someone else and put them under pressure closer to the goal.  I can’t stand to see another season of both of them have time to ping a ball or pass it out, only to do the fake pass and roll the ball back killing any chance of getting into space quickly.

Same old same old, nothing changes.
Stale team, stale individuals that most clubs would have moved on long ago but that would involve some work wouldn’t it and that appears to be too much effort for Dumb and Dumber upstairs.
Combinations that don’t work all over the pitch.
Feel very sorry for season ticket holders who are going to spend hard earned money to watch more of the same.
Hopefully 1 day this disastrous regime will come to an end.

Exactly, this.  It doesn’t matter where we play them. They are still a combination of shit and lazy,

We need a CM with a brain and energy, also someone who can pass the ball quickly and get attacks going. Out of Hamza, Winks, Skipp, Ndidi and Soumare, I don’t trust any of them to do the basics let alone be the engine of the team.

Who would’ve thought our wingers looked better running into space or at goal high up the pitch, rather than standing still on the halfway line hoping a cb actually passes the ball forward.

I keep mentioning his name, but we could have got Hayden Hackney for less than we paid for Skipp, but we have probably missed the boat now.

Coopers obsession with bringing in players with prem experience, cost us big time as we should have invested in younger hungry players with potential and a higher sell on ceiling. Hackney instead of Skipp, younger alternatives to Ayew and BDCR and I don’t think we would have been any worse off in regards to performance but be in a far better position going into this season with a stronger squad and more saleable assets if required.

They are a bundesliga side, they will be competing against the likes of Dortmund, Bayern, Leverkusen etc next season.

They're better than most we will face in the championship. Think of a team around Everton's level.

The bottom end of the Bundesliga is not as good as the Premier League, far from it.

Yet a newly promoted Bundesliga side turned over a recently relegated PL side. Very much reminded me of the Everton 4-0 with how static our defence was.

Amazing is a stretch, he was good in Enzos system

Just read the Winks thread. He’s a cut above, wish we had him in the Premier League and so much better than Tielemans just on the first page.
