Praying he stays fit.

Which is a worry, he does pick up knocks and niggles.

Think people are going to have to understand he may not be picked for every game when we are play 3 week.

Him and Watson will rotate a lot this season I expect. I think we’ll see Watson start tomorrow, with Will to come on and cause carnage like he did at MK (should have been given longer to do so).

Need to be sensible with him.

I disagree, I think he's earnt the start and should start whilst he's high on confidence.

He will benefit from a long and consistent run in the team, we can't hold him back anymore.

Two things can be true at the same time. He is our main man but we also have to be acutely aware of how his body copes.

Yeah, I think there needs to be a degree of ramping him up. He looked shot after about 65 mins the other night.

Shouldn’t be pushing him too much too soon. I do get the argument for repeatedly starting him, but I fear I know how that ends currently.

Wasn’t able to have much of an impact going forward today, but was impressed with him today.

Put a proper shift in defensively and worked his socks off. I know that’s a minimum requirement for a footballer but still.

Still running hard late in the game as well - One of our fitter players.

Utterly bizarre to basically play him at left back for the second half. He was deeper than Thomas for most of it. Did a decent enough job though

I thought he really struggled defensively when he was forced to drop into the back line as a de facto left back in a back 5, whenever their right wing back went forward, but that's to be expected when he's an attacking player who's never played there before and you can't put any blame on him for that.

In the match thread a lot of people were getting him mixed up with Thomas because of that though!
