Strange that we seemed to abandon playing out from the keeper last night. His long kicks seemed ineffective against their centre halves. I dread the second half substitutions lately, I think Monga would be better as a second half impact substitution, Daka, I don't see the point, I wonder who scouted him and what their report was.

We seem to be the reverse of the Maresca team, good in the first half but much slower and unthreatening in the second. Difference is that the previous team generally got the match won.

 

We look like a team that plays well in parts but not clinical enough and our lack of a decent striking option is obvious.
