What's all this gold & silver malarky

Just looked at what Hull fans are being charged for QPR and it looks like silver are the front rows and gold are rows further back.

Do you reckon that we only have the top tier then? I thought that 2 years ago we had upper & lower

Don't think they give away fans the bottom tier now. I think the away club can request both tiers, we will have to wait what allocation we have asked for

As @Foxes1said, we'll only get the upper tier.

Looking at QPR's home games before us (Hull, West Brom and Birmingham), lower tier tickets are on sale to QPR fans.   No way, we'll be any different.

(I assume they now only give lower tier to away fans for a cup tie)

We did then. I was lower tier as it was cheaper tickets if I recall. Not sure if they do that now or not, they seem to change a lot. I've been at times when we've been given top tier only and times when we've had both tiers.

Do we know how much allocation has been given?

If it's just the upper tier which looks like it will be it will be approx. 1800.

Is it our choice not to have the lower tier? That allocation is tiny.

Edit - just checked and lower tier is on sale to QPR fans ☹️

Think they changed it after all it's a small stadium wouldn't make sense to give the away team that much of the allocation

Total disgrace. Apparently this season the clubs did vote to bring the £30 cap into the EFL as well but one club threatened legal action so it didn't go ahead this year.

QPR's ground working capacity is approx 17,500.

Football League rules are that you only have to give away fans 10% of capacity, or 2000, whichever is lower.

In the past, QPRs crowds were a bit lower and/or they didn't mind giving away fans both tiers ie more than the minimum necessary.

I assume their home crowds are a bit higher, as now they only give the upper tier (1760) ie 10% to away fans for league games.
