This is not Formula 1.

Russell having the audacity to moan about Ferrari not wanting to change the start procedure while sitting on and benefiting from an illegal car that isn’t changing till June 1st.

How is it illegal?

"The Mercedes engine has been measured by the FIA at both ambient and operating temperature and complied with the limit of 16:1 at all times, senior F1 insiders have told BBC Sport."

Everyone moans. I think out of the current bunch, Leclerc and Piastri probably moan the least about the competition and tend to be more introspective and fire shots at their own teams (with good reason).

Won’t be able to do it from June 1st.

Won't be able to what?

Delayed rule change to give them time to change their exploit

They don't need to change a thing as per the article.  The issue was that the cylinder was measured at ambient and when it heated it expanded increasing their compression ratio.  As said above, they've also done the same test at a higher temperature than the test being introduced in June.

The engine doesn't exactly seem to be a magic wand for Williams, Alpine or McLaren does it?

We’ll see after June 1st.

I dunno, McLaren aren’t far off and Alpine have certainly got pace.

Russell for the title at 8/13 is printing money. He’s got an empty net and he just has to walk it in from 1 yard.

One could've easily said the same about McLaren and Piastri last year. Look how that turned out.

Extremely premature to make such a call after 1 race.

F1,  like football is very quickly becoming very boring, too many rules stopping the sport actually being entertaining. Its literally denegrated into what business is your favourite and I can't stand it.

Happy for Kimi. Hope he pushes on because if Merc are finishing 1-2 every week, it’ll be good if it at least gets a bit spicy between them like we saw occasionally with McLaren last year

Great stuff from Kimi.

Made up for the sprint race which seems like was fun but chaotic?
