You may have seen that the Foxes Trust has seen a lot of change over the last year and a significant rotation of board members following the latest election in late 2025/early 2026.

At our AGM in January we shared our hope that more people would become involved with the Trust and contribute their skills, experience and time to help us keep growing. The Trust is therefore looking for volunteers to help on various projects and tasks. We know our supporters have so many amazing skills and valuable knowledge.

Our Subgroups meet every couple of months, often online. Other tasks may be more ad hoc as and when necessary.

We are currently looking for help on the following:

Finance

  • Are you able to help with accounts, budgets and/or auditing?

Governance

  • Are you an experienced Company Secretary or willing to learn? A few hours a month would be needed to keep the Trust operating well under the Society rules.
  • Do you have legal expertise that can help the Trust run in a compliant manner?

Women’s Game

  • Do you attend the WSL games and watch Leicester Women? We need more Trust members to get involved on our Women’s Game Subgroup.

Communications

  • Do you have experience with branding and marketing that could help the Trust re-brand?
  • Are you experienced in PR/Press Relations so that you could help us with engaging local and national media more effectively?
  • Do you have expertise in website design that could help us with re-designing the Trust website?
  • Are you passionate about running social media across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X and Bluesky to help us increase the number of followers we have?
  • Do you have skills and equipment to help with creating video content for platforms such as TikTok and YouTube?

Community & Representation

  • Do you have experience in running charitable events/fundraising?
  • Are you passionate about supporting initiatives in the local Leicester/Leicestershire community?
  • Are you currently a member of another supporter group and able to help the Trust build stronger links/partnerships with those groups?

Membership

  • Are you able to help us improve our communication to members via member newsletters and other ways to engage?
  • Do you have experience that could help us in co-ordinating events specifically for Foxes Trust members?
  • Do you have experience in survey design that could help with question format and structure when the Trust runs surveys to canvas supporter or member opinion on key issues?

Day To Day Operation

  • Are you happy to volunteer some time to help with administrative tasks that help the Trust keep running? (e.g. processing new memberships)

Any and all support is gladly welcomed, whether you would like to join a Trust working group to dedicate regular time or whether you are happy to make yourself available on an ad hoc basis when we need to call on you for help. We are a volunteer organisation and only as strong as the people we have helping us.

If you would like to get involved,  and are a member, or willing to become one, please email [email protected] with an email titled ‘I can help’ and an explanation of your skillset and which area of the Trust you would be interested in helping. We’ll then be in touch to explore further with you.

Has everyone basically jacked it in pissed off that the old guard are no longer?

Might we end up with a Foxes Trust Reform Reform?

Not really. There’s been a shuffle on the main roles

There’s always been the need for more. Particularly on the bigger projects/schemes. Just for the first time in a long time that the Trust may reached out.

A few volunteers who have been supporting for many years have stepped away as they didn’t want to continue after the election result.

But it’s more that the new board wants to do more things than before, and that there is a lot of work to do, so the more people helping out the easier and quicker it will be!

Something the Trust has missed in recent years - probably due to the fact it consistently took a kicking every time it spoke publicly - was proactive recruitment (of members and people to help).

Wonder if the Trust could start to come up with options for a Business plan to save the club. Clearly the current regime don't have one. May need to plan for Community ownership model when KP leave/ go bust. Once the administrators are in, they are constrained in what they can do. A sell out to 'the community' would allow the Nepo to save face.

I believe the Trust has sufficient funds to pay one of the lesser lights in the team a weeks wages so that should help. :P

Yeah, no pressure @Foxes_Trust but if you could raise a few hundred million that would be grand.

Tall oaks....

Simply this, do we just await administration and then let the club fold (see Bury for that plan). Or do we lobby Regulator, MPs, Sports ministers etc with the message ' Do you want  recent league champions to fold on your watch, under your leadership?'

See no point in talking to KP administrators without a clear, funded, rescue plan in place before Top drives us off a cliff  with no-one at the wheel. Top is not in control of events that are unfolding  and he doesn't own LCFC. Guess is KP administrator would be glad to see the back of LCFC, so might be more affordable than people think.

At least pressure might get them to appoint a different chairman  which they have done with KP, after recognising Top is not capable.

You should get a renewal email to be able to do it via that.

The email will come from [email protected] (the CRM system the Trust moved to last year) but should still show as ‘Foxes Trust’ in the email itself. A lot of emails from the new system are heading to junk/spam so worth checking there.

If you’ve not received, email [email protected] and someone will pick up helping you!

But what I think most of us can agree on is that we want a club that is:

  • Well run
  • Open and transparent
  • Accountable
  • Properly engaged with its supporters

100% this is what I want.

Unfortunately the club is the exact opposite of these four points and they appear to be totally unwilling to change IMO.

Are you a member of the trust?

if not come and join, it’s a great opportunity to get your voice heard. The larger the membership becomes, the more it represents a larger proportion of the fanbase then not only do we become louder but we gain more credibility and influence.

Just seen the post they put on fb about the club not responding to them about the season ticket renewal deadline. The comments are unreal. The club is utterly doomed with some of the absolute morons we have "supporting" us, or should I say supporting Top. What a shambles!
