We were calling the players out for what they are and the look of horror on the faces was quite incredible. I’m not sure who are fan base is now.

I'm not sure either. I don't recognise these people that go down the City for a bit of a social. They can do what they like but count me out. I'm not coming next season and, sadly, probably never again.

Think it’s got to the point of pure apathy tbh, do agree that we need to give it both barrels but during the 90 I understand the need to just distract yourself rather than have that disgusting shit pushed into your face

Four of us as a family have season tickets but we go to the football as a big group of around 20 that sit near us. The thing that has common ground is that it is now a chore to go and watch us play not a pleasure. Really hard work to get the gumption to get up and go and watch the game let alone switch the tv on to watch us when there are better matches to watch. This is what this ownership and its mismanagement have done.

This team is useless to a point of it being just totally bizarre. Like I don't think anybody who hasn't followed this whole thing play out can really appreciate the insanity of it.

 

I just cannot see how that team stays up after today. You had the monkey off the back the other night, both the win and the clean sheet, under a new manager with a very steady track record at this level - keeping up the smallest budget club in the division last season against the odds. We are presented with an equally favourable home game against a team in relative freefall, who have lost their last four games to nil, two of them absolute thumpings. Mentally they're on the floor. Even the most pessimistic in our fanbase thought today we'd win. 

 

We even get the early lead. It's all going to plan. And we end up... absolutely battered?

 

Other than Tottenham, who would be the biggest relegation story of basically any of our lifetimes, I can't see anybody quite like it.

 

This just feels like no matter what, whoever is in charge, we are destined to fall through the trap.

 

The club is totally rotten. The rot is deeper than I think any of us realise.

Our defending has been worse than ever and we're currently on our worse run of form and heading to league 1.

If you start Jordan Ayew up top when he can't run, can't press, can't offer any tangible goal threat then you deserve to lose football games. It's a disgraceful piece of selection. We got away with it on Tuesday. Daka isn't the best but infinately better than Ayew.

Let's face it, the management and the manager(s) simply don't have an eye for good defenders. That's the issue.

Faes was the main culprit in that constellation. He's gone to Monaco and continues to be a bombscare (occasionally).

As for Vestergaard, even injured now, he's scored more goals than Mavididi, Winks, Skipp, Monga, Ricardo, Okoli or Nelson.

How none of these 14 managers we have had haven't thought about playing 3 CB's at is strange. We probably don't have a good enough back 4 in truth so need something different. This formation takes away the worst part of Thomas' game with the ball in behind. Mav could be an option up top. Lascelles leadership qualites introducded. Worth a try:

I’ve been thinking this also having Lascelles next to Okoli and Nelson will give us stability. 5 in midfield with and Mukasa as No 10 behind Daka. It’s imperative we don’t lose our home games and hopefully we can grind out some more away games.

Nelson should be able to deal with a simple long ball, but Ayew's lack of pressing allowed the QPR player all the time in the world to pick the pass. 

 

I don't understand why Rowett is playing with such a high defensive line if he has Ayew up front not pressing. 

 

We're committing so many basic errors it's unbelievable.

Don't get me started on that T*** Choudary ambling around the pitch in the first half walking, and standing still then receiving the ball passes it five yards backwards!!!!  Was rightly barracked by people in the East stand turned and sarcastically smiled at them......Bloke needs hanging for showing no signs of passion or effort.  He can clear off along with most of them.

 

Whole club is a shambles and a mess.

 

We can't even do basics right, zonal marking at corners isn't working either whole coaching team need binning off including King.

Let´s talk statistics...

In the 8 Ligue 1 games (including the one in which he was injured) Faes played for Monaco up to now they had 4 clean sheets : that´s 1 out of 2! In these 8 games they conceded 7 goals : that´s 0.875 per game! They had 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss : that´s 19 points out of 24!

So if Faes is a bombscare, what are Okoli and the widely praised Nelson? Nuclear bombscares? But hey, you got rid of Faes... although it might well be the other way round : seems like Faes has gotten rid of LCFC!
