Despite how bad he was when Marti went I don’t think that was a fair reflection on him. No no no no no. King has shown nothing as both a man in charge and coach. I don’t think he’s demonstrated leadership off the field and never struck me as the type of character on the pitch that would become a good manager. He should be working with the under 23’s. 4
winteriscoming Posted 29 April Posted 29 April Valerian Ismael. Not that I want him but I’m sure he’ll be someone we look at.

So basically every member of the squad will be ****ed one way or another. Love the 'Team America' reference there 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

And we never will playing right footers on the left and vice versa. We need pep to do the opposite and all these clueless coaches will follow suit, then we might see strikers score too! 1

I get your point but for me any winger has to be able to go inside and outside, and be competent with both feet. It's far too easy for any defender if they know which way the winger is going every time. Fatawu has always looked best when he mixes it up and will go around the defender and cut the ball back as much as cutting insode to shoot/score. Edited 29 April by Plastik Man 2

All very true, but start them on their strongest side and swap them over. I played out wide, and nobody had to tell me or the right winger to swap, we did it ourselves. Why can’t the modern player think for themselves? I’ve said this before but if our beloved set piece coach left the centre halves to it they wouldn’t be marking space , they’d pick their men up and mark them. 2
Foxes1 Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Rudkin and co. will drag their heels and finally get someone in beginning of August, he will not have learned any lessons with the shit show we had last pre-season when we waited to relieve RVN of his duties and messed around finding a replacement. I'm assuming the contract Rowett as is until immediately after the Blackburn game.
Muzzy_no7 Posted 30 April Author Posted 30 April Yeah I just hope we have someone in place before the end of June, along with a new AM, coach, fitness coach, GK coach and for heavens sake get rid of Andy Hughes. 1
FoxKent_88 Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Scott Parker putting himself in the frame for the Leicester job. Bold move. 1
County Fox Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Anyone think we could tempt Nathan Jones away from Charlton? Personally, I think he is very cringe but I would take him if we could get him. I didn't realise just how good a record he has in L1/L2, plus KDH seemed to like him 1

Sorry to be slow on this, but I am guessing you are just referring to the fact he is performing badly at Burnley and we just generally hire dross???? or has something actually been said? Definitely someone we turned our noses up at a couple of seasons ago, but times change. He is more of a man manager but did trust in younger players during his time at Fulham and Bournemouth If Spurs go down, I bet he fancies himself getting that Edited 30 April by County Fox 1

teblin Posted 30 April Posted 30 April I might be wrong, but did Parker not get offered the Job before Enzo?

I certainly recall that he seemed close to being appointed. I also remember that the reaction on here, to him possibly joining wasn't great. TBF, I think he had just basically failed at Brugge

I was one of the ones reacting negatively to it. I was thrilled when it emerged we'd gone for Enzo instead. 2
winteriscoming Posted 30 April Posted 30 April The options available to us are pretty poor or limited. You either go for someone with experience in league 1 or lower like Challinor at Stockport (as long as they don’t go up) or you end up with someone who needs to rebuild their reputation. So a Ruben Selles, Will Still or Ryan Mason. Failing those options you take a chance abroad like Huddersfield did a few years ago on an unknown like David Wagner. Zero chance we even look abroad. My preference is Michael Duff at Wycombe but I doubt we’ll even consider him.
FoxKent_88 Posted 30 April Posted 30 April They can't afford to get this one wrong. Safe pair of hands required. Parker would be perfect imho but he will inevitably get better offers. I dread to think what Rudkin will come up with.... we just have to pray that McCarron has some sort of positive influence.

He talked about wanting the opportunity to want to build something at Wycombe, probably off the back of things quite not working out for him at Swansea and Huddersfield (although I think he was sacked harshly at Huddersfield). Would he be happy with what he has at Wycombe and not want to risk it all, with managing us??

Imo Duff comes across as someone similar to Pearson that he won’t take any shit and back the way he wants to play but also flexible enough to change system/shape during a match if it isn’t working. I agree the stumbling block is that he hasn’t been at Wycombe that long and we’re hardly that appealing to join. 1
