MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 And the game is over. We just weren't good enough. Reading's tenth win in a row.
The People's Hero Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 James, I think you should stop following the Live Commentary. It's just no good for you. Not that you suffer from a heart stroke at your age already! No - it's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back!
Chimp Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Sure but... the Reading commentators have seemed pretty impressed with Leicester. Seems like a common theme. Our performances have raised quite a bit of praise from the media and especially from opposition managers... pity our results haven't reflected this.
Steven Posted 28 December 2005 Author Posted 28 December 2005 CL and Coppell having a pop at each other.
cisono Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 No - it's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back! You could have been drinking red wine instead
davieG Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Please don't spam. And that's not helping It's obviously made him very happy Cis, don't spoil the enjoyment he seems to getting from it.
Northants Fox Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 That was utter SHITE!!! FACT!!!!!!!!! what can i say other than that
Paul Ramsey Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 That's why were going down. It's not over yet, keep Levein and it will be.
MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Now I'm looking forward to the match report on the OS. Wonder what Levein has to say. What will the headline be? "Levein left frustrated"? "Levein disappointed with team performance"? "Unfortunate defeat for Leicester"? "Bitter loss for Levein"? You know, the usual.
The People's Hero Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Come on... someone start up a Levein Out poll! :P
TornadoShaunUK Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Has Levein done a runner? he best f**king do before we get people chasing him out, I'd be quite surprised if the majority of fans dont start calling for him to be axed within the first few months of next year. Here's to saturday's defeat at Norwich...
Sigma Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 "Bitter loss for Levein"? I'm going with this option....
The People's Hero Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Now I'm looking forward to the match report on the OS. Wonder what Levein has to say. What will the headline be? "Levein left frustrated"? "Levein disappointed with team performance"? "Unfortunate defeat for Leicester"? "Bitter loss for Levein"? You know, the usual. Sweepstake on which player they will wheel out tomorrow morning to lament our bad luck and comment on the amazing togetherness of all at the club? I'm going for Dion. He's a Leicester lad, some people seem to love him, he knows the game well. Also, he hasn't done it for about 3 weeks now. Or how about Gaz Williams, back in the fold?
cisono Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 I think I will go back to supporting Italian teams
MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Surprisingly enough, I don't even feel anything after tonight's game. It's like my skin has developed anti-bodies so that I no longer have any feelings whatsoever in cases of defeats. Total numbness, tellya. Maybe also a defensive mechanism to avoid freaking out completely. Dear doctor, is something wrong with me? *Yawns*
Northants Fox Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Come on... someone start up a Levein Out poll! :P Well I'm not doing it. as for the match just one opinion there
Head Honcho Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 It's obviously made him very happy Cis, don't spoil the enjoyment he seems to getting from it. Thanks Davieg! But if you are happy with the way we are playing then I apologise, If you are not then I don't.
MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 With 1-1 draws each, Millwall and Crewe are getting dangerously close, too. *Shudders*
The People's Hero Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 You could have been drinking red wine instead I was and am drinking red wine! Cheers folks. To the imminent demand of Craig Levein. We Hope. *chink*
davieG Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Thanks Davieg! But if you are happy with the way we are playing then I apologise, If you are not then I don't. I'm not happy but you seem pleased that's all.
Suffolk_fox Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 FFS here are some facts. We are not premiership quality- yet! We totally rebuilt a side which was sliding rapidly. If MA had stayed in charge we would have gone down for sure. God knows what division we would be in now! CL has turned alot of things around, but the thing that takes longest is a large number of players to gel together. Here's a pointer. Lots of people who are qualified and professionals within the game (ie managers, pundits) say we are an impressive set up. People on here who are warehouse workers, policemen, security guards, etc etc etc say we are hopeless. Hmmmmmm let me think on that!
Anish Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Thats what you get for being negative. Precisely. We lose playing negative, we lose playing attacking. At least give us a chance by trying to beat the opposition, Craig. The clock is ticking. Levein is on borrowed time if things continue like this.
