Are players allowed to shoot from outside the box, or is it because the build up is soo slow that the two low banks of midfielders and defenders are too hard to break down

We’ve played 2 of the the worst teams in the league… they may well prove to be the worst 2…. And we’ve got 1 point. It’s going to be a long season.

it reminds me of how we struggled at Sheffield Wednesday first game last year … and we convince our selves we are going to get better… then when we played charlton and were shocking and then the Oxford game with the red card. All the similarities are there.

the only players worth the shirt are the young lads. We can’t play this way with the back 4 we have. We can’t score goals… birstic is going to be rough around the edges.

it looks like we’re facing another disaster but this one could be fatal

Worst two besides LCFC*

The latter. The keeper and all the defenders have to have a touch before we are allowed to look up. God forbid we were ever to catch the opposition out of position/shape.

I think we only scored because there was one quick transition

If he’s sacked Rudkin will only bring a manager who will play the same style of crap

Are there any of those fossils left after Martin? Think he was our inevitable full house.

Nope. This was meant to be the one. For years since Enzo left all the noises coming out of the club was that RM was the man they wanted. This is the master plan, after this it all goes out the window.

I remember thinking when we scored. Russel won't be happy with that borderline route one football.

It's the slow playing out from the back which takes ages to create a good chance which poses no threat to the opposition as long as they just sit back and soak up pressure

It’s simple.

Enzo identified who could play his way of football either already at the club or not.

Martin has hired his mates and not addressed the awful squad imbalance.

Enzo (results wise) had an incredible bounce, Martin not so much 🤦🏻‍♂️

Martin is the symptom, not the cause.

Unless and until we drive out Jon Rudkin - by whatever means necessary - we will continue our slide from Champions League to National League.

It is Rudkin who has appointed an endless series of completely inadequate managers.

It is Rudkin who authorised the signing of Oliver Skipp - who even outstrips Dennis Wise as the worst signing in City history.

And it is Rudkin who has kept a hand on the purse-strings to the extent we have NO strikers with any experience on our books.

You won’t see me disagreeing but Martin isn’t faultless in all of this.

Let’s repeat my theory, we get a half decent manager in….do they sign McCarthy, Cullen and co?!

Simple answer is….NO!!

The manager has clearly had his say with pretty much all the signings minus Bristic.

We needed physical, athletic players yet we sign more weak, short players with zero resale.

I am sure Rudkin can fine us a few more

There are Football managers and there’s people who go round looking for 3 months in a job with a big payoff. Leicester are the softest touch and we’ve fallen for it yet again with this fraud.

I think we know how this ends.

Sacking him in February with no replacement, King as the interim for 2 months and then Russell Slade as manager for the last 6 games for the relagation scrap?

That's what I said at the time. It wasnt his brand of football that created the chance. It was a typical football league goal with a quick break and cross from out wide, bundled in at the back post. His brand of football created not one chance today.

I think his crayon etched rolodex is all out of names to be honest.

The minute Dave Challinor signals he’s ready to come back into a job my god we need to do whatever is left in this ****ed up ownerships power to get him in. We aren’t winning more than a handful of home games this season under this utter ****ing hopeless way of playing football with this squad.

He’ll go to Wednesday. Wednesday can I work with was saying they expect him to come in and Pedersen to be removed or back to a coaching role. They have Stockport’s director of football who they brought it so sounds quite likely.
