That seems harsh in my opinion, however, there does seem to be a majority of left/liberal posters on this forum (General Chat) and what you have said there would not go down well with them. I rarely comment but remember once starting a discussion around paying for a GP appointment and was immediately shouted down as Farage in disguise despite never mentioning any political affiliation.

I think that’s the more annoying and frustrating part than having people who flat out disagree with you- being unfairly silenced

 

Believe me, if I was a mod who blocked posters from posting everything I disagree with, then there’d be 75% less posting going on.

I don't think anybody would condone property being burned down or innocent people being scared in their own homes. 

However, simply shouting racist is not going to solve this issue. You have to ask why people are doing these things rather than just call them names or there will never be a solution.

It was a barbaric attack by a man who illegally entered the country, there are countless other examples of crimes commited by people that, legally and perhaps morally, should not even be in the UK.

The only way that we will get anywhere is if one side doesn't blame anyone that looks different to them and the other side accepts there is an issue that needs dealing with. It's a very simplified way of looking at it but people on the left throwing out racist to anyone that doesn't agree with them only exacerbates the issue and, I believe, is almost diluting the very sense and meaning of racism.

The only human beings it would be appropriate to describe as ‘muck’ in this situation are one person who committed a horrific violent crime, and thousands of predominantly white British men using that as an excuse to attack innocent people living their lives causing no harm to anyone. It’s incredibly depressing that I share as many communities with you as I do, I might have to move to whichever thread you’re banned from
