We still have to comply the periods we were, and might by in other leagues.

We can't be sure what 'project' he was sold but just like those that came and went before him, I suspect he is starting to realise he shouldn't believe a word they say.

Insane that managers speaking to us about a job here don't spoke to the reams of managers that we've had recently about what it's like here. I'm sure the LMA facilitate that elsewhere.

RM's actual words (when asked about TRANSFERS, not "arrivals" so both signings and sales) :  “Yes, I think so," "Who and when I haven’t got a clue, I’m sure we’ll update you as and when. The situation we’re in, with the size of the squad, the amount of interest we have in some of our players, it’s only natural that things will happen and start turning as they have done this week. I expect more to happen this week and whatever we’ll do, we’ll be happy with."

A couple days later Fatawu was sold confirming what he said. He never promised signings this week, there's no indication he was "lied to", you guys just fell for a click bait tweet or read something from someone else without confirming what he actually said for yourself.

That's not what I was referring to, but they're some pretty quotes that you copied in.

I think that too a little.

 

I think we'll have another couple of frees and Loans thats about it.

 

But it could be, that we'd lined up a CB, but none of the CB's have gone for example. Same with Archie Collins or Smallbone, we were expecting Skipp to move on.

 

Though that doesn't excuse the still lack of a senior striker.

Given the lack of urgency and the fact our squad needs serious surgery in order to compete at the top end of the division, I think it's fair to say KP don't give a jot about promotion and have effectively thrown the towel in, hoping a buyer bails them out so they can walk away blameless.

 

Happy to be proved wrong and I hope we get some quality through the door, but the signs are there....

Speaking after City's 1-0 win over Cadiz in Spain on Wednesday, Martin outlined the club's transfer plans and stressed the importance of not rushing into bringing players in. "I think there will be a lot happening between now and the end of the transfer window," he said.

This is a crazily unfair system, we're still at risk of point deductions under PSR but teams that have been in league 1 or lower for 3 consecutive seasons aren't at any risk of PSR point deductions. 

 

If we breach again then I see another legal challange on the horizon.
