Notts County only put the home tickets on sale this morning.

Which is granted but LCFC have done no social media post or website article regards away tickets starting sale today. They can easily delay it by a few days to send all that out

Maybe no social media but they sent an email this morning about tickets going on sale, what’s the rush game is over 4 weeks away

There is no rush - so why did LCFC choose to release with next to zero notice? 

 

Previously seasons the club would release away ticket details with approximately a week's notice. Therefore people can accommodate time to log-on or call when their priority slot arrivals. 

 

The e-mail I received today arrived nine minutes (1.51pm) before my priority was released. If I am busy at work, I can't buy them. Personally I've had to rejig my working day tomorrow to make sure I am online tomorrow at 8am - that's a lot easier to do with a week's notice than less than 24. If you were part of the away priority scheme, you'd have got an e-mail out of the blue today in the morning asking you to buy - so if you are the people what organises four or five of your mates, you are texting around this morning to sort. 

 

It's just really poor communication again. Particularly for a game which will be very popular

obviously you have you reasons but why wait till tomorrow at 8am when you say your priority is already open 

 

also It’s not as if we didn’t know it was coming, tickets are always on sale around 4 weeks before the fixture, not that difficult to sort out beforehand

Because I'm waiting for my brothers priority. 

 

We didn't know it was coming. Poor show AGAIN by them along with the zero announcement of Northampton cup game today going on sale. Or the lack of membership detail before tickets go on sale for home or away games. Or the lack of Members Ballot for this very popular game where the clubs much delayed priority points reform is still being put off. 

 

Easy wins for them which constantly miss.

Certainly is, I had a butchers at away tickets last night and nothing, then got the email today about ‘joining them.’
 

Im not joining you, I’m going to support the team. 
 

In the old days they were on sale about 4 weeks out I think, with dates, prices way before that.

 

Is this the norm for third tier? Or a one off, time will tell.

You could cut the club a bit of slack and think it’s first game of season, maybe the home club aren’t organised etc. But our ticketing operation has been crap for years, that this is probably indicative of what will happen for rest of the season. Could have waited till Friday before putting on sale, for a few days notice. Arguably, tickets are more likely to get resold how the club don’t want, with ticketing sales like this. Because people will buy and just pass on if can’t go.

 

Now I have ten minutes to decide whether I want a ticket, because I’ve been completely blindsided by the email that I opened this morning.

You've probably got a bit longer than that seeing as there are currently none available until they open up the next block lol
