Does well to win it, but it’s such a nothing ball to him that all he can do is just win it into an area, baffling as he actually had an easy ball to his right centre back (think Okoli at the time) on.

 

Cullen appears utterly anonymous but I don’t put any blame to him on that one.

I was in Germany for work yesterday, in Frankfurt. I was watching the game on my phone and a couple of German lads came over to watch it for a bit. We were already losing 2-1 and down to ten men. They're both Eintracht supporters.  Below are some of their paraphrased quotes on the game.

 

1: "Wait, you are in the third division? How?"

2: "I don't understand what passing the ball sideways does. Why can't you just attack?"

3: "If you have played like this for so long and are now in the third division, why do you keep doing it?"

4: "Why are you not trying to attack? You are losing."

 

In case anyone thinks that we're trapped in a weird echo chamber and are going insane, anyone who watches us for a few minutes and has our predicament explained can see the horror of it.  How KPFC loyalists and quite a few media types in this country can't see it is beyond me.

 

I was having a nice day yesterday, visited the Waldstadion and the Eintracht museum and then that game derailed my weekend AGAIN.

Another reflection on Saturday's shambles. How bad was Tom Watson? Maybe he's lacking match fitness but he looked like he's been plucked from the west stand. First touch was shocking, got in everyone's way and gave it away countless times.

I dont think he's had proper pre season, looks like he needs a month with the academy to get up to speed.

He wasn’t good but I refuse to moan about anything but our moron defense and baldy in cdm, convinced the attackers will look way better if Hilary a cdm and another cb come in and aren’t shite

Before Skipp went off we were 2-0 down. After he went off we won the remainder of the match 1-0. If we hadn’t played him we would have won the game, obviously. 😃
