The next Leicester manager

Recommended Posts

I think we won't accept him because he is useless. He may have one good season or two, but he is past it. He did nothing in his time here at Leicester or Southampton. He is promoted as some sort of relegation saving specialist but his record at this is not great. It is more Bassett's ability to self-publicise and promote himself that seems to convince people.

He only managed Southampton for 2 games. He took over here from Peter Taylor as you know. Quick reference to the Poll elsewhere will trace our current problems back to Taylor. Hence, Bassett NEVER STOOD A CHANCE of keeping us up.

Micky Adams used to rely on Dave Bassett quite a lot, particularly for advice on signing players. That was one of our main complaints.

Think I'm at the stage now where I want somebody who (i) can motivate the players and (ii) is a Leicester fan through and through.... give it to Ally Mauchlen, Steve Walsh or Gary McAllister.

Hey watched Grand Masters Final yesterday on Sky and Leicester beat Chelsea 3-2 in the final. I'd sign those players up to help with the current plight.

Up the City[quote

Gary Mac has apperently already held numerous meeting with the leicester bored.

If we really do need to get rid of him, Which I feel, after todays 1st half performance, we do not, lets have Dion till the end of the season.

The way in which he organised the defence really impressed me, and he would know how to sort out our goal scoring problems and also sure up the defence. Come on lets get Dion in

I'd lose all faith in Leicester if Dion was manager.
