Picked up Ante-Post coupon from Betfred today... Never done this before but fancied a couple of quid this season. Rekon I might just go for a treble though, because I can't call League 1...

Premier League: Manchester City

Championship: Bolton

League Two: Rotherham

I've done an early one on man u, Bolton, Sheff united and Rotherham. Usually quite good at this, 3 out of past 4 seasons I've got it right, one of them was done in December though

Treble would be about 95/1, but the Bolton/Rotherham double (safer option IMO) is 40/1.

ive just had a quick look at http://www.oddscheck...pionship/winner and cant believe we are favorites to win the league and are as short as 5/1 at one bookies. :|

Blackburn seem splashing the cash, but I think they will be like us last season. You can't write off Blackpool either really if they can keep hold of Tom ince and matty Phillips that is. Bolton will be strong coyleis a strong manager. Birmingham depends on how Clarke settles in. 5/1 is terrible for us we could do without that kind of pressure.

Think I would go for

Prem -city(closely followed by Chelsea)

Champ - Bolton

League 1 -MK dons

League cup -Liverpool

FA cup man city

Champs league - barca

screwed out of £250 by ladbrokes, I had £20 on Torres to be top scorer and they are calling it a dead heat so only paying out 1/6 of the winnings. Clearly Torres won the golden boot due to assists and game time, i am currently trying to argue my case with them but i cant see me winning to be honest!

Ladcrooks....

They weren't offering a 'golden boot' market because they know a) everyone thinks top scorer is the same as golden boot and b) it is likely to be tied on goals scored thus giving them a very good profit.

When you next speak to Ladbrokes ask them what are the three key objectives of the Gambling Commission. They will answer 1) To protect the young and vulnerable, 2) To keep crime out of gambling, 3) ensuring that gambling is conducted in a fair and open way.... (at this point give them grief  )

Oh and if you get nowhere with Ladbrokes complain to the Gambling Commission. They might not do anything but if they have received a lot of complaints it could cause future action.

Also on the subject of 'technical terms to betting that not a lot of people know about thus bookies rip you off' always bet no goalscorer and not 0-0. Own goals do not count as goals scored. Thus 0-1 with an og = no goal scorer (price is the same as well).

IMO Ladbrokes and every other bookies have done nothing wrong, people bet on which player would score the most goals at the Euro's, if that ends in a tied situation then you get paid out less, its obvious.

It is misleading.

name another top goalscorer bet you can have where u could lose out to on your bet with another player having more assists than the player u had? it dont happen, u bet on goals scored and thats it.

World Cup Golden Boot? Or does that only count through FIFA/UEFA?

you'd be betting on 'world cup top scorer' not golden boot.

its exactly same argument.

I was looking earlier, and if you have Man City, Blackburn, Sheff Utd, Rotherham and Luton to win their respective leagues it's about 3300/1 with Coral. Has to be worth an E/W shout.

Like the look of Chelsea at 5/1 in all honesty. Hulk, Hazard and Marin added to their squad.

Couple of defenders and they are good to go.

Chelsea/Bolton double 54/1. Will probably have a dabble on that.

I've stuck £10 on Andy Murray to win at 2/1 after Paddy Power did a #PRICEGASM on twitter.

I've also stuck £5 on Kohlschreiber to win at 12/5

Backed Federer/Azarenka double at the start of the tournament (54/1). Now into 14.5, to lay or not to lay?

Defo lay. Can't see past Djokovic/Wiliams, personally.

Bit of a daft punt, but the potential returns dazzled me. And actually out of this list, only Barcelona and Dortmund aren't favourites to win their respective leagues, and even then they're close seconds.

Man City, Bolton, Sheff Utd, Rotherham, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund & PSG all to win their leagues.

Now, for each way on this bet, would that mean if they all place (so, come 2nd as opposed to winning), it would be alright? Or does it just allow me a reprieve if one of them fails to win.

If you take it each way it means they can finish in the top 2(or 3 or 4 depending on your bookie) but it will take you winners down obviously if one doesn't win.

Ah yeah, that makes sense :) Cheers man!

Premierships two each way places. Championship is three. Not sure about the others you might have to go on to chat. :)
