Micky Singh Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Which one is the best goal scored at the walkers??????
Sparky Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 joeys , although nalis was a tougher goal to score (wrong foot on the volley)
Sly Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Which one is the best goal scored at the walkers?????? Joeys!!! Best goal I've seen by a Leicester player since that infamous bicycle kick by Izzet!
Ric Flair Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Joeys!!! Best goal I've seen by a Leicester player since that infamous bicycle kick by Izzet! I agree. That Izzet goal is probably the best goal i've ever seen, even better technically than Van Basten's volley in Euro '88.
holly Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 joeys!! had to watch the nalis goal on telly so being there to see it made it better!!
The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 I was on the front row and I couldn't really tell if it was going in or not, was just about to launch a tirade of abuse at The Iceman (thanks Shum)
Collymore Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Does anyone remember Guppy's v Wimbledon? My fav has to be Collymore's 1st v Sunderland, not the greatest ever scored but it was just the way Colly answered his critics with it.

Bluefoxtim Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Nalis. Many people wern't paying attention at Joey's and all i can remember is him hitting it and just going in the net, i didn't know what had happened. Where as Nalis' just came down and smack! in the net!
Jonbluefox9 Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Which one is the best goal scored at the walkers?????? Nalis' goal is the best goal scored by a Leicester player at Filbert Way in my opinion. Premiership opposition, poorer foot as Sparky said and against Paul Robinson in goal who became England first choice a year later.

Seagrave_Blueboy Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Nallis. emmence technique. he could try that 100 more times and he wouldnt score past paul robinson, and i bet izzet would manage to score past the grimsby keeper again in the same sercumstance.
Bert Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Hmm this is hard - I'd probably say Joey because the chances are very slim that we wouldn't see a goal like this ever again at the walkers. Imo it's very close between Nalis but Joey just shades it because of the rarity.
davieG Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 I actually enjoyed Joey's second goal more, The run and the cross by Welsh from the goal - line, ok it got a deflection, but who did we see pop up and retrieve it with a header, none other than Gareth Williams. Welsh was in immediately, note not still hanging back admiring his previous work slips it to Nissa, who does his impression of Gazza allowing him to put in a perfect pass to Joey who sets himself up to lash in a powereful 25 yard drive. Superb goal, great teamwork, a mix of skills, persistence and Williams in the box during open play - what more could one ask for.
shez Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Nallis goal looked better because of the technique and also because it was on live TV it got more coverage, if Joeys name was beckham though his goal would still be making the headlines on SSN!
ramp Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 err its probalby joey but nalis was a harder to score but from nearer range
