Mark Posted 11 April 2006 Posted 11 April 2006 Which are the moments in films which stick in your mind? They may not be your favourite films as such - just those scenes that have lodged themselves deep in there, anything from a fantastic piece of cinematography to a killer line of dialogue... fire away!
Nationwider Posted 11 April 2006 Posted 11 April 2006 Which are the moments in films which stick in your mind? They may not be your favourite films as such - just those scenes that have lodged themselves deep in there, anything from a fantastic piece of cinematography to a killer line of dialogue... fire away! I love the scene in Pulp Fiction where Vincent and Jules visit the three kids in the apartment - the Big Kahuna burger discussion. Just ice-cool acting, slick dialogue and brilliant direction. It's very unremarkable yet very memorable, if you see what I mean. I love the entire film to be fair - that's just one scene of many I could choose.

Lemon Harpic Posted 12 April 2006 Posted 12 April 2006 "Leonard, if Hartman finds us here, we'll be in a world of shit." "I am... in a world... of shit."
Lemon Harpic Posted 12 April 2006 Posted 12 April 2006 Fight Club. "His name is Robert Paulson! His name is Robert Paulson!" <<<< Legendary. My favourite bit of Fight Club is Tyler Durden's speech to the police chief... "Look, the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals. We haul your trash. We connect your calls, we drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Do not fück with us."

I love it when the owner of the basement (Lou I think) comes down and beats the crap out of Tyler, then Tyler jumps on him and he's bleeding all over him etc and begging him to let them carry on using the place. Didn't really explain it very well, but you get the picture.
