Yet how un-Posh are these so dedicated representatives of the working classes that JP, for instance, is allowed to enjoy all the trappings of wealth yet doesn't even do a proper job anymore. If that doesn't take the piss out of the working man I don't know what does.

And Grin-and-Blair-It's not Posh, is he? Oh no, he and his missus don't like much in the way of money/property/perks from pals.

This isn't a Labour Party it's a gaggle of Communists and I've mentioned their real battlecry before on this forum: "Everyone is Equal but Blair and Friends make sure they're more equal than others while even sober bankmen warn of the spiralling debt which is making even proud people penniless.

Well while you, presumably have Buddhistic tendencies (all very admirable in my eyes) and singularly extol the virtues of poverty, classlessness and self-denial, I was born in Leicester, spent my infancy in a caravan at Ratby, grew up in Branstone, became a father at 18 and lived with my family in a small ridge tent (in a farmer's field) for nine months in the mostly pouring rain having hitch-hiked around Scotland as an 11-year-old sleeping rough and blagging my way into police cells and Gorbals snooker clubs for a night's free shelter.

It wasn't my fault I passed my 11-Plus and went to a Grammar School but I was soon pissed off that they didn't play football and didn't take long getting effectively expelled for my reaction to the headmaster pushing me through a pair of swing doors.

That earned me a thrashing from my father but saved me a 12-mile run to and from school every day and it didn't bother me at all that one of my three boys declared he wasn't going to school at all from the ages of 8-15.
