davieG Posted 29 May 2006 Posted 29 May 2006 Ok folks I've been updating the Calendar for a couple of weeks with the play-offs etc. I'm happy to continue but only if it's useful to a fair number of people. This is a serious poll so let me know what you truthfully think, I wont be offended. Cheers davieG Calendar Events - bottom of the page
Jay Posted 29 May 2006 Posted 29 May 2006 to be perfectly honest I din't actually know it existed but to be honest it's pretty handy and I will be checking it out in the future, that is if you carry it on!

Knighton Matt Posted 29 May 2006 Posted 29 May 2006 I think it's great but I find it a bit confusing in the upcoming events in the next 3 days section on the main page as I've got no idea whether the events are today, tomorrow or the day after. I suppose that should be your cue to click on the calendar and find out but other people might be a bit more hasty and assume all those events were 'today' as it were. Just a thought but great work davieG very useful feature!

Ultra Posted 29 May 2006 Posted 29 May 2006 Stick with it. It'll be VERY handy when the World Cup's on.
davieG Posted 29 May 2006 Author Posted 29 May 2006 Its a nice feature! But KM's point is good. See my reply to KM

City Fan Posted 29 May 2006 Posted 29 May 2006 Can't say I use it because I get the info elsewhere, but I can see why it would be useful to some people.
davieG Posted 31 May 2006 Author Posted 31 May 2006 Bumped, anyone else got a view on this, 2554 members and 32 votes. It's like the political system in this country that provide us with the politics no one wants
Katy Posted 31 May 2006 Posted 31 May 2006 Bumped, anyone else got a view on this, 2554 members and 32 votes. It's like the political system in this country that provide us with the politics no one wants Just keep it DG, it looks good and for the amount of people that have voted it useful is reason enough to keep it going. There's only the hardcore that come on this site over the summer so not everyone's going to vote anyway. I don't think lots of people who post in the LCFC forum know Gen Chat exists anyway Oh yes and most of 2554 members are Freund anyway
Chimp Posted 31 May 2006 Posted 31 May 2006 No realy, what calendar!?? Ya rly, what is this calendar you speak of?!?
Strokes Posted 31 May 2006 Posted 31 May 2006 Nice touch Davie, i have found it useful on more than one occasion.
Ultra Posted 5 June 2006 Posted 5 June 2006 Bumped again. Up to 39 votes now, but still a VERY small proportion of those who regularly post on here...
Knighton Matt Posted 18 June 2006 Posted 18 June 2006 FYI the Brazil v Australia game kicks off at 5 today and the Croatia match kicks off at 2. Shows people are using the calendar davieG!
Deathside Posted 18 June 2006 Posted 18 June 2006 I voted What Calender - Simply because it's buried at the bottom of the page (off screen on this notebook) so I've completely forgotten about it Sorry!

Steven Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 I am sorry I have a criticism of the Calendar. I think it would be good if the date could be shown of when the event will take place alongside the fact that it will happen in the next seven days.
Rincewind Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Don't use it because I forget its there but its useful if I remember. I was going to add I dont use the arcade much either but just clicked the link and was sent back to the index page. Is it running or do I have to alter my PC settings?

Hi steven thanks for your comments, yes I can see it's a bit of pain - it would seem the only way to do it is to type it in manually with the other details. I'll see what I can do.
lookwhaticando Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 I am sorry I have a criticism of the Calendar. I think it would be good if the date could be shown of when the event will take place alongside the fact that it will happen in the next seven days. If you hover the cursor over the event, it tells you the date... if that's any help at all. PS: I voted 'Useful'.
