Strokes Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 Just been confirmed on the OS that Luton away is on Sky. 12.30. Great, wasn't Sheff U on sky last year? not a good Omen <_<
Ricey Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 Just been confirmed on the OS that Luton away is on Sky. 12.30. 2nd year in a row we are on TV as the first game of the new English season.
Libertine Posted 23 June 2006 Author Posted 23 June 2006 2nd year in a row we are on TV as the first game of the new English season. If I remember correctly, last year we set a new record for the earliest start to a season ever. Looks as if we'll break that.
Phube Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I've heard a rumour from someone, who knows someone, who has a dog etc... that we've requested the same sort of start as last year (whether you can do this who knows!!) i.e. Away first game, home the next two - midweek and weekend!! Let's wait and see hey... Now I'm really scared, this must be the World's most psychic dog!!
Monk Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I reckon I'll still go if I can get a ticket. Playing Luton always reminds me of Gary Coatsworth's screamer back in 94...
Libertine Posted 23 June 2006 Author Posted 23 June 2006 I don't want to have to get up early to go to this.
Head Honcho Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 Now I'm really scared, this must be the World's most psychic dog!! Not that Psychic when you consider that half the teams in the league have the same start
Master Fox Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I don't want to have to get up early to go to this. This is crap, why are they showing our game? It's ruined everything now
Head Honcho Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 This is crap, why are they showing our game? It's ruined everything now Look on the bright side more drinking time after the game
Libertine Posted 23 June 2006 Author Posted 23 June 2006 This is crap, why are they showing our game? It's ruined everything now It's not even a particularly big game. I'd have thought they'd choose Birmingham, West Brom etc.
Master Fox Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 It's not even a particularly big game. I'd have thought they'd choose Birmingham, West Brom etc. I know it's a strange choice? Maybe Chris Kamara had a word with the Sky producers and said ' Put Leicester on as the first game of season, it made them sh1t last season why not try it again?

Phube Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 No, we're on at the start so they only have to show us once more in the season!!!
Guest Gist Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I'm surprised it's been chose for Sky like you say it isn't a big game, have any other games been chose for sky?
Bert Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I'm very surprised at this, i thought Colchester Birmingham would be shown! Still a bit of extra money for us!

julian_joach Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I reckon I'll still go if I can get a ticket. Playing Luton always reminds me of Gary Coatsworth's screamer back in 94... and last seasons late goal from chris o'grady
