Sly Posted 30 June 2006 Share Posted 30 June 2006 Now the squads shaping up, I think we're going towards 3-5-2. What does everyone else think? My reasoning is as follows: Goalkeepers: Douglas/Henderson/Logan Centre backs: McCarthey/Gerrbrand/Kisnorbo/Johansson/Kenton/McAuley Right Wing backs: Maybury/Stearman Left Wing backs: Sheehan/Gerrbrand/McAuley Centre Mids: Hume/Tiatto/Gerrbrand/Johnson/Wesolowski/Hughes/Williams/Low Forwards: De Vries/Hume/Fryatt/O Grady/Low
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 June 2006 Share Posted 30 June 2006 Supposing you are right, which I don't, Tiatto would be a left wing-back. McAuley and Gerrbrand wouldn't.

Manwell Pablo Posted 30 June 2006 Share Posted 30 June 2006 Sorry I forgot Tiatto on the left. Sylla and Hamill to be sold. Prolly not so much a wing back as a winger in a 4-4-2 formation I reckon. Brilliant.
teblin Posted 30 June 2006 Share Posted 30 June 2006 And Maybury played left wing back for hearts i think! But the was under levein (so to speak)
Alexikokopops Posted 30 June 2006 Share Posted 30 June 2006 MCAuley is not a left wingback. He's filled in at rightback before.
Steven Posted 30 June 2006 Share Posted 30 June 2006 Certainly if not a 3-5-2 which I would like, the definitely it cannot be a 4-4-2. Unless that is 4-4-2 with no wingers. <_<

Gerrbrand + McAuley left wingers? Hume centre midfield? Gerrbrand centre midfield? Low centre midfield? Low forward?
