Craig Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Very worried about that Taylor article. They really don't want to give this club up now they've got themselves into the comfy seats
BartonFox Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Self serving nomark To me that sums up everything that is wrong and has been wrong with this Club for the best part of 3 years.
Jon the Hat Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 As Chairman he has a respnsibility to present a range of options to the shareholders.
Janx Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 yeah but we aren't buying this "we're dead attractive propostion and loads of people are coming out of the woodwork, so dont get too excited Milan" act... Take the money and feck off Taylor
BartonFox Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 As Chairman he has a respnsibility to present a range of options to the shareholders. There are no options, there never have been and never will be, well concrete ones anyway. Mandaric will pay what was spent, but no other consortium will because the shareholders investment is no where near what they put in. Mandaric wants the Club as we have far more potential than anyone else and with the new Premiership TV deal about to kick in at a cool 30 million plus a season he is on a winner if he can get us up. The man ain't an idiot. Sadly our lot have no clue or finance in which to get there, but are desperately trying to cling on in the hope they can fluke it. I love it, I really do all these alleged LCFC fans trying to screw every penny out of potential investors after they have guided us to one of the worst 3 year periods in living memory. LCFC shareholders they're shafting us!!!!!!
Swedging Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Swedging, your getting boring now. Can you answer me a few questions. 1) If Mandaric took over and replicated what he did here to what he did at Pompey, would you be happy? 2) Would you rather Milan take over or stick with the current lot and have zero prospects of a bright future. 3) Would you go for the ground share, instead of the Mandaric deal. Thank you. I can answer tham - but to do so honestly means quite an extended reply. Which I fear you would merely find boring.
Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 I can answer tham - but to do so honestly means quite an extended reply. Which I fear you would merely find boring. I wouldn't find it boring. I'm interested in your reasons why your opposed to Milan, I wish you would voice them.
Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Have you heard that Trust spokesman on Radio Leicester today? Unbelievable! Almost begging the Tigers to come and get the groundhsare bid in again. Disgraceful.
Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Doesn't have to be another bid. If existing shareholders agreed a share issue they could put in £5m themselves for example. Well why the fook haven't they already done this if they were serious about doing it. It's gone on record that the shareholders and board wanted to find someone who could take the club further and now they have, there is a possibility that the existing lot will just stick more money in to scare them off. Pathetic.

Pathetic. spot on. I personally think that the board are just saying to try to sound professional. I honestly believe that MM bid is the only one we have recieved, and think that it'll be the only one we recieve.
The People's Hero Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 spot on. I personally think that the board are just saying to try to sound professional. I honestly believe that MM bid is the only one we have recieved, and think that it'll be the only one we recieve. You're right. The board is way out of it's depth on this one. It's boys playing at being men.
Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 You've got to hope that Lineker will take charge here when it comes to the shareholders getting together. He was the man who headed the consortium that took us over and he is a man who really does have the best interests of the club at heart. He's a football man, has been all his life and i'd hope that he'll wise up to what our board are currently doing. Take charge Gary and make this happen.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 You're right. The board is way out of it's depth on this one. It's boys playing at being men. I've heard the only reason it's called a board room is cos they sit around playing Monopoly and The Game of Life all day.
Jon the Hat Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 I've heard the only reason it's called a board room is cos they sit around playing Monopoly and The Game of Life all day. More likely going for Broke!!
The People's Hero Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Janx was on the Wheel of Fortune once. BANKRUPT!!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Janx was on the Wheel of Fortune once. BANKRUPT!!!! I take it this has been mentioned before and the obligatory joke made about him being that bird who was on Wheel of Fortune whose name I have temporarily forgotten.
Janx Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Janx was on the Wheel of Fortune once. BANKRUPT!!!! yeah buit who's laughing now John Leslie?? mwahahahahaha
Daggers Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Have you heard that Trust spokesman on Radio Leicester today? Unbelievable! Almost begging the Tigers to come and get the groundhsare bid in again. Disgraceful. There's no link on the site. Anyone got anything like a transcript or a precis?

Nay it was his agent Holmes, who just used Gary's name as a figure head we would all look up to.
Daggers Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 yeah buit who's laughing now John Leslie?? mwahahahahaha Probably John Leslie - I'll bet he's still hoovering of lithe bellies

Janx Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 leave Jenni out of this! And I don't NEED chat up lines, Im instantly recognised and birds flock to me....
Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Nay it was his agent Holmes, who just used Gary's name as a figure head we would all look up to. He's also made some positive indications that he's up for Mandaric taking over. So I hope he has a big say when the shareholders get together.
