BBC Gossip Column Also his agent has said it was just a disagreement and Rooney just told Gray to leave him and his friends alone. Somehow, I actually believe the gossip because it sounds very Rooney-like. (Sorry, too lazy to get a link)

Matt Posted 8 September 2006 Posted 8 September 2006 In The Sun (Yeah fair enough it The Sun) Rooney was having a meal with Coleen and 2 or 3 other couples and Gray went up to Rooney saying something like You and me share the women out and have threesome, Rooney basically said go away 3 or 4 times, then the manager of the resturant/bar came out and said Calm Down or you'll be out (To Gray) then Rooney without even getting out of his seat threw a punch and KOed Gray, Went Gray came round he was threw out by the bouncers, Micheal Gray is now walking around with sunglasses on to disguise the bruising, Rooney is said to have made the comment that there are no hard feelings though.

Considering the tabloid's hero worship of Rooney's it's no real surprise they've got the thugged portrayed as some valiant superhero that got up and one-hit-KOd the guy from his chair for being lude and obscene.
