steve_wilson101 Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 0-0. We can't score but can defend. Sunderland have had a couple fo good results but remember this is still a team who lost their first five games and a team full of new signings won't turn that around overnight.

Master Fox Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Sunderland 4 Leicester 0, i can seriously see this happening. I hope not Sunderland 5 -0 Leicester
Ajax Treesdown Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 4 or 5 i reckon. Sunderland have hit form, while we are s**t. I go with Sunderland 5-1 Leicester, with Connolly getting a couple.
rollermackem Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Sunderland 1 - 1 Leicester. We'll get lucky and score a comical goal that will have Roy Keane throwing prawn sandwiches around. ^^^ Thats the best post out of the lot of ya's, and thats a bit poor C'mon Guys.... a Mackem speaking here, But the negativity around this 'Leicester' place is f ooking shocking, sort it out will ya.... Trust me, I know the feeling, after the last 2 years we've had.. but to give in so easily is an offence in itself.... 'One' of our Sunderland mottos is 'BLIND FAITH' Christ, its bad crack when away fans come up to the SoL already believing they are gonna get beat, and trust me...... that aint happened for a loong loong time.... a long time... I pray to God (or whoever) that we do stuff ya's, and in my heart I believe we will. cos Keano's Red n' White Army are marching forward.. Ha'way the Lads... but all in all I wanna see a good game, and some Good AWAY support... See ya's...
dandannieldanok Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Just been on a s'land forum and they are saying that the ticket office up there are expecting over 35,000 to go to the game!
Magictv Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Just been on a s'land forum and they are saying that the ticket office up there are expecting over 35,000 to go to the game! How many of them are City fans?
newms Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Just been on a s'land forum and they are saying that the ticket office up there are expecting over 35,000 to go to the game! our players will have never played when a stadium is three quarters full before!

Especially when these negative tactics are clearly not working... Maybe he will change it round and fryatt will actually take a chance?

If you were in our position, having experienced the away games we have for the past four years, you'd be in the same frame of mind.
Darth Fox Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 Sunderland 5 - 0 Leicester. Sadly. Matty Fryatt...sorry I mean Fatty Fryup couldn't score in a brothel.
lcfc true blue josh 18 Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 2-1 city, i reckon we can pick ourselves up, or a good result would be 1-1 with fryatt scoring
Stevosevic Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 4-0 sunderland. our strikers are poor and there finishing was impressive at Leeds.
Daggers Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 4 or 5 i reckon. Sunderland have hit form, while we are s**t. So, let me get this straight, Sunderland have hit form because they have won two games this season... ...does that mean we'd hit form last month on the back of three wins and a draw?

Sorry. We have won the last 3, on the bounce. WBA (h) 2-0, Derby (a) 2-1, Leeds (a) 3-0.

Daggers Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 3-1 to Citeh on the back of a shock managerial change tomorrow morning!
zoomzoom55 Posted 15 September 2006 Author Posted 15 September 2006 3-1 to Citeh on the back of a shock managerial change tomorrow morning! If you're referring to the McGhee rumour, which I picked up on here, I hope that there is no truth in it. If you decide to change your manager you can do a LOT better than that!!
Thracian Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 Maybe Leicester should represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest with all the null goals and null points they're getting but the question is how many will Sunderland score? I refuse to be intimidated by em and refuse to loose all faith. So 0-0.

If you decide to change your manager you can do a LOT better than that!! Nope - I refer to the idea I proposed of hiring Ricky Gervais as the manager.

One thing we can be, er, proud of is that we have the most negative fans in the land. Perhaps we should make a chant out of that rather than whining that we're not allowed to break the stadium. Or maybe a chant where we whine about how we wish we could break the stadium would be a better standard for us to rally around. But we could piss on your chips. We have had two unlucky results - we're either going to get a third or frustrate the hell out of you and make you realise that you've just seen yet another false dawn. Which, of course you have - for nothing would be funnier than seeing Keane replicate Mick's abject premiership season after promising so much.
