BartonFox Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Wow, keep them jokes coming, you may get someone to laugh one day. How can you argue with what i've said? Logan, McCauley and Mccarthy played well... Hammond is rubbish but its nice to see him score, Nils shouldn't be playing, and Low had a good last 10 minutes but a shit game in the whole, or does your ability to argue go no further than a smilie So you think we deserved a point? I suppose we did because Birmingham didn't finish us off and Logan showed why he should have been in ahead of Henderson ages ago. Chris O'Grady will hopefully be consigned to our non existant reserves, and when Elvis is a better goalscorer than you you'd better find a new profession. Once again the vast majority of numbskulls will think we are off on a run towards the play-offs, now would be an ideal time to sack the clown and get a real manager in.

Where've you seen that then, Barton? I don't recall seeing such statements anywhere in this topic, and not in any recent topics in the LC forum.
bigneville Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 In Barton's defence, there was an "EIEIEIO Up The Football League We Go At One Point Today"

Yes i do, our defence deserved a point. It would have been daylight robbery had we nicked a winner, but on the performance of logan and 3 of the back 4 it felt just to me, especially away against a birmingham team that had the luxury of bringing on forsell and jerome. Attacking wise we are very poor and there is no hiding away from it, god knows how we scored today we never looked like we would, but football isn't just about attacking, we earnt a point but were well short of all 3.
bigneville Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 One person is a vast majority? I was sat in with the Birmingham fans above the City fans, and i could clearly here a few people singing that song......

I bet O'Grady's got the prelim to the bug. He'll ring in first thing if he's got any sense. Can't see why he should be the only one left without an excuse.
shen Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 What did any of you lot who saw the game think of Birmingham's Bendtner?
Jimmy Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Hume and Hammond to start next game. with weso and williams providing them with the through balls they need

Fair enough, then, people were singing it. Perhaps they were just enjoying themselves? It's not uncommon for fans to sing that sorta stuff on a good day out.

It's not uncommon for fans to sing that sorta stuff on a good day out. It seems as though the fans will start singing it when we get a point nowadays , especially away from home. I can remember the fans doing it quite often when we beat a poor Ipswich side, but then we didn't move too far upwards after that
