Wycombe Fox Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Well done City. Can't remember the last time being so excited about a City match - oh yeah, v Spurs. Unlucky lads. Well done Villa and MON. Ref Sounded like a Filbo atmosphere too.
Poakey Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 what a game, might have to listen to more of your games now. Oxford till I die but a Leicester fan also from now on. Eric will go from strength to stength now, sounds like he did well. Got to start somewhere mate,Welcome.

shen Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Well it's not the early birthday present I was hoping for... But it's probably only good that we went out of the cup now. It's not worth a lot of money, unlike the FA Cup, and they can take a lot out of the performance today against QPR....
Foxy1984 Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 I couldnt have coped with penos i could. i've decided
Suffolk_fox Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Cheatin' fookin' Villa! Well Done City, this is why I am a City fan....
Wycombe Fox Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 A good marketing exercise for the benefit of Mr. Mandaric!
Foxy1984 Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 It sounded way beyond my expectations. I'm disappointed. Very disappointed. But that was the Leicester I know and love

Foxy1984 Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Right time to go back to my housemates. They don't really understand why I've been so excited!
Simon Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Considering we had so many injured I think we did fantastically well. With Stearman and Weso playing together in centre-mid, one of whom is supposedly a right-back and the other just on his way back from injury, we seemed to match Villa pretty well throughout the match. Hendo sounds like he had a blinder, God knows what Kelly will do on Saturday. Can't wait to hear what the others say when they get back from the match...
B195 Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 There were many possitives to take from this, and shows what the players can do when they are up for it. With the quality young players coming through too the future does look bright Mandaric or not.
samingram_uk Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 im so proud of leicester, they put on a great performance when we were clearly the underdogs, its performances like these, why i love leicester so much, LEICESTER TILL I DIE
JadeFalcon Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 bloody glorious for leicester the ref deserves to be fooking sacked tho
Libertine Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Gutted. But extremely proud. Didn't look like a Prem team vs a CCC team at all. Absolutely amazing when Hendo saved the peno!

Can't wait to hear what the others say when they get back from the match... lStearman and Weso were outstanding together, but I can't see Weso being fit for Saturday now as he was limping quite a bit towards the end. Incredible. Hendo did have a blinder, some amazing saves tonight. Hopefully Conrad keeps his place though. All in all a great match and the players did the club proud. Josh Low
syston_fox Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 So proud of every city player on the pitch tonight (apart from low). We played with belief and pride and you could see how much it meant to them after the penalty decision in the 90th min and the last minute goal. Thats one of the things thats been lacking - some pride in wearing the shirt. Tonight they gave their all and deserved the standing ovation at the end!
Bluefoxtim Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Gutted. But extremely proud. Didn't look like a Prem team vs a CCC team at all. Absolutely amazing when Hendo saved the peno! Agreed. Still can't get over LOW though... useless DONKEY! what was he doing

Josh Low I don't see how Low can get into our squad when we've got tonnes of better alternates even with the injuries, hopefully after today RK will see that
nhfox Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 I just got home from work and saw the result...I'm absolutely gutted but I'm very proud of the team. Nights like this make me proud to be a Leicester supporter.
