Thracian Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I don't know how some of you can react like that - typical non-thinking 'it's the PC brigade' response. Along with some comments made after the QPR game that their fans were rubbish because they didn't speak english (Thracian) this board has turned into a farce dominated by bigots with more time than sense. IF Tiatto said something racist (remember i said if) then i, as a sane leicester city fan, want him punished to the full extent of the law. I think it shouldbe conducted through official channels not the media of course, but anybody who justifies racist abuse by defending the context in which its perpetrated is an idiot and should be treated with contempt. Where the f..k did that come from. I didn't say or imply anything of the sort. Which totally emphasises my point about racism and people just randomly putting their own interpretation on things for their own ends.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 There's 2 sides of the story, lets wait till we hear what the other party (Tiatto) has to say before we make any judgements!!! He's not availble for comment Singh. (that means he's not going to comment) Silly Aussie.....whooopsss! please dont kill me!

I think you'll find he said foriegners should'nt be allowed to live permantley in the UK if they don't speak the English language. A bit like my opinion that you should be deported for not being able to read it.

He could be on the shitter or something!!! Be alittle patiant, i'm sure the truth will come out!!! Wait till the P.C brigade get a hold of you, no pressie from santa this year for you son!!!

Until anything further comes out, I think everything on this topic has been said. People can feel free to talk about racism in the general chat room.

Everyone's entitled to there own opinion, and are entitled to disagree!!
Daggers Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 This thread is bollox. No one knows what was said. The only thing we know is that some willy puller decided to take an issue to the media rather than report it through the correct channels. ==============================================
linekar78 Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Manwell_Pablo: A bit like my opinion that you should be deported for not being able to read it. Thracian: That's obvious. Walking down the High Street it's probably the only place left where they speak English. I think that's pretty clear isn't it? QPR fans not good because they don't speak English - am i grossly misqouting him?

DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Maybe it was a general slur on Stoke people. Surely that's something we would support.

QPR fans not good because they don't speak English - am i grossly misqouting him? Totally misunderstanding what was said. Someone asked why there so many young QPR fans at the groiund and I said probably because they felt comfortable there as it after a walk down the High Street it was the only place they could hear English. There was no suggestion that the foreign tongues were being spoken by QPR fans at all. It was a slightly flippant way of commenting that the QPR might be regarded as a last bastion not just of English but more particularly of English tradition in that area.
Daggers Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Tiatto thought Diao was Welsh. It was a Welsh thing...you know, I can't say it because they'll accuse me of being racist. Rhymes with 'car, car'. You know...
linekar78 Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Fair play if i misunderstood your criticism - people of west london rather than QPR fans. I live 20m from Loftus Road and was at the game. I've got to dissapoint you though, the vast majority of people i live near speak English.

gatesheadfox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Duberry's evidence in that trial was actually by the prosecution against Woodgate & Bowyer. he stood to give evidence against them, only after defending and denying their actions. it was only when he felt guilt at the extent of what had happened....so the press led us to believe anyway

The Don Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 the high street refered to is probably the one which the polish embassy sits on, might explain the number of polish speaking folks around there Or the Polish Embassy was put there because so many polish people lived there. New one to be built Narbrough Road.

3pts4awin Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 sometimes i wish i wasn't white, look at all the sympathy you get, just for an accusation which you cannot confirm, mazing.
Dr The Singh Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 sometimes i wish i wasn't white, look at all the sympathy you get, just for an accusation which you cannot confirm, mazing. Don't be stupid, grass maybe looks greener on the other side, plus every coin has 2 sides, it may seem as though Duberry is getting the benefit of the doubt on this occassion but majority people with common sense (coloured or blanc) know better!!! Trust me, being coloured, I can't stand positive discrimination, because it's wrong and the long term effects could be disastrious!!!
gatesheadfox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Trust me, being coloured, I can't stand positive discrimination, because it's wrong and the long term effects could be disastrious!!! how is this for positive discrimination.... a casino in newcastle on certain nights only allows chinese people in, i was turned away one night and the reason was i am white. most chinese people are embarassed that they are allowed to do this
Milky Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I can't stand positive discrimination, because it's wrong and the long term effects could be disastrious!!! yeh, like manish bhasin on football focus. he was so shite on radio leicester, very barberesc, hardly headhunted for his football knowledge <_<

Majority of minorities etc do not ask for it or want it, it's effects brings about negative feelings and attitudes!!! I really would wish, especailly the government and there goons to use abit of common sense!!!
gatesheadfox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 yeh, like manish bhasin on football focus. he was so shite on radio leicester, very barberesc, hardly headhunted for his football knowledge <_< so what do we think that mark laurenson was given the job for? is he half cast or something that i have missed, he certainly doesn't have a clue what he is on about
