Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 And if you listened to everything someone called you on here you'd be able to make a??? On a serious note, if it didn't regard colour then it smacks of political correctness to me, its pathetic, many many people say many many things in the heat of a sporting contest but unless they cross a particular line it should all be swept under the carpet after the game has finished. This is one area where football could learn a lot from those egg chasers!! I dunno, he could of called him a monkey.
Thracian Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I dunno, he could of called him a monkey. If someone had whacked me that would be the nicest comment on the list.
Milky Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I dunno, he could of called him a monkey. i'd love to be called a monkey. wonderful creatures.
I_miss_wembley_finals Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I dunno, he could of called him a monkey. Fair point, I was thinking more along the lines of direct racism, but I guess Duberry left it open in purpose.
bold_fox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 If he's has made a racial remark then he deserve to be punished. !!! Its fine to do it behind there back, but in front of them is well out of order !
Thracian Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 If he's has made a racial remark then he deserve to be punished. !!! Its fine to do it behind there back, but in front of them is well out of order ! How the hell does that equate? If someone reacts in the heat of a challenge that's one thing - but being a calculated (and cowardly) racist behind someone's back really would prompt me to ask the culprit to examine their values.
Daggers Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 How the hell does that equate? Like, if I make a comment about Ultra being a brain dead fart but don't post it I don't have to apologise to anyone, whereas if I start a thread and post that I think Ultra is a brain dead fart then it would be deleted (unlikely) and I would have to apologise to him (cold day in hell). Needless to say, this is a hypothetical situation being used purely to illustrate a point.

bold_fox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Chill out Thracian.... We've all had drink, lets not say things we're gonna regret.
Head Honcho Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Is Duberry part of any religious group ie Sikh, or Christian??? I think Diao is Muslim and Tiatto may have called him something along the lines of raghead! I'd call that religous hatred not racism , anyway we're just speculating but whatever Tiatto said should be investigated!
Thracian Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Chill out Thracian.... We've all had drink, lets not say things we're gonna regret. Don't expect me to back off. I get sick of football being used as a manipulative tool by people with their own agendas. If there really was an issue over this it could have been addressed quietly without being conducted as a PR stunt.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I think it's fairly clear the best course of action here is to speculate wildly on what was said, especially as it will have such a massive bearing on the incident, despite having no real information to go on.
Fox in a Box Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I dont think there is much in this ... few days after the kick racism out of football week, now now .... Hey but if this is true then danny should be sacked. But how the hell can you get evidence?
leicester1884 Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I didn't he defend bowyer and woodgate in their little incident? Duberry's evidence in that trial was actually by the prosecution against Woodgate & Bowyer.

Daggers Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I think Diao is Muslim and Tiatto may have called him something along the lines of raghead! Pure conjecture! Allen, aren't you the one that normally argues for us to be in charge of the facts before passing comment about an event?
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 You're an idiot. Oh Yeah? well you state the obvious!
Daggers Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 You're an idiot. ...and he should know FIAB. Fez is Lord of all Idiots.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 ...and he should know FIAB. Fez is Lord of all Idiots. Precisely. He is under my jurisdiction. I am merely re-examining his role. Currently he is just an idiot. If he starts any more pointless threads today I am promoting him to Deputy Lord Idiot. EDIT: And there it is.
breadandcheese Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Quite frankly I think Duberry is completely out of order. He announces it to the world to speak out, crucifying Tiatto in the media, without any evidence to back it up, without any desire to make a formal complaint. This sort of label is something that sticks. If Tiatto is a racist, then it is for all the City squad, black and white, to beat two shades of sh*t out of of him. From what I can see, there is a good team spirit between all. Duberry announces he is racist, without repeating what was said, so nobody can judge whether the comments were intended racist remarks or not. Quite frankly, a fellow pro should not be crucifying another pro through the media like that. I mean, how outrageous would it be for Duberry to contact Tiatto through the club to clarify the intentions of the remarks before going public with slanderous remarks. Once again, Duberry proves himself to be the stupid tw*t he has always been. How he never made university challenge, I don't know.
linekar78 Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I don't know how some of you can react like that - typical non-thinking 'it's the PC brigade' response. Along with some comments made after the QPR game that their fans were rubbish because they didn't speak english (Thracian) this board has turned into a farce dominated by bigots with more time than sense. IF Tiatto said something racist (remember i said if) then i, as a sane leicester city fan, want him punished to the full extent of the law. I think it shouldbe conducted through official channels not the media of course, but anybody who justifies racist abuse by defending the context in which its perpetrated is an idiot and should be treated with contempt.

Needless to say, this is a hypothetical situation being used purely to illustrate a point. If I tell Ultra he's a brain dead fart (which I wouldn't dream of) it would be what I feel at that time. It would be my reaction to whatever he said. Not because he's Muslim, or black or coffee coloured or for any other reason other than my disagreeing with him. By printing that opinion, he would know my feelings and have a right to respond, which I'm quite sure he would. But if I said nothing to Ultra yet told other Leicester fans verbally that Ultra was a brain dead fart that would not be reactive. It would be a calculated character assassination with genuine and totally unjustified malice and not in any way a knee-jerk reaction to something he'd said.
Dr The Singh Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 There's 2 sides of the story, lets wait till we hear what the other party (Tiatto) has to say before we make any judgements!!!
