Bert Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Link I know it's our stadium and that, but why are we bothered about this?
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Link I know it's our stadium and that, but why are we bothered about this? Their just trying to shift some tickets I should imagine, nice little earner for us there if we can get a sell out.
lookwhaticando Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Just in case any of us were interested in Rugby as well as football?
davieG Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 LinkI know it's our stadium and that, but why are we bothered about this? They do seem to be pushing it on the website and in the Merc, I can only assume they've been paid to market it or are receiving a % of the gate receipts
Strokes Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Link I know it's our stadium and that, but why are we bothered about this? So why did you bring it to our attention then.
filbertway Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 So why did you bring it to our attention then. It bothered him enough to ask everyone else why it bothers them?
uncle_connolly Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Link I know it's our stadium and that, but why are we bothered about this? I completely agree with you. Whats the need, we are a football club right??
Janx Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 I completely agree with you. Whats the need, we are a football club right?? its all about the Lsd mate! Kerching!
uncle_connolly Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 its all about the Lsd mate! Kerching! Right Still dont like rugby appearing on the OS though... I fear the groundshare
The People's Hero Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 I completely agree with you. Whats the need, we are a pie-pod club right?? I don't even know what a 'pie-pod' is mate, but if you say so.
Strokes Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 I don't even know what a 'pie-pod' is mate, but if you say so. You don't know what a pie pod is? you must have lead a sheltered life.
Joe. Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Surely it can only be good? It's all money at the end of the day.
Strokes Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Surely it can only be good? It's all money at the end of the day. YEAH YEAH YEAH.
Bert Posted 16 November 2006 Author Posted 16 November 2006 Surely it can only be good? It's all money at the end of the day. Yeah it's money at the end of the day, but my point is when i go on the official Leicester City Football Club website, i'm going on to find out information about us, not some rugby match, that doesn't really matter.
AyewJoking Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Yeah it's money at the end of the day, but my point is when i go on the official Leicester City Football Club website, i'm going on to find out information about us, not some rugby match, that doesn't really matter. Maybe the football fans dont matter to the person/people who control the website.
Daggers Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 I know it's our stadium and that, but why are we bothered about this? Maybe, and I'm going out on a limb here, maybe it is to demonstrate how good we are at putting on and promoting rugby matches...just in case anyone was interested in a 'I wonder if I should put a bid in but it depends on how good they are at putting on rugby matches' kind of way. Maybe.
Bert Posted 16 November 2006 Author Posted 16 November 2006 Maybe the football fans dont matter to the person/people who control the website. Well that's the thing that should matter, if i wanted to find about rugby, i'd go on a rugby website.
C-man Posted 17 November 2006 Posted 17 November 2006 I like rugby, not as much as football mind, and Dallaglio playing just gives me another reason not to go to this game. With those prices, they'll be lucky to get 15,000
kirkwood Posted 17 November 2006 Posted 17 November 2006 I just hope that there isn't too much rain prior to the rugby match. Have you seen the state of the pitches , especially around the scrum area, when the18 stone egg chasers have finished shoving each other. What a mess!
davieG Posted 17 November 2006 Posted 17 November 2006 Well that's the thing that should matter, if i wanted to find about rugby, i'd go on a rugby website. Which rugby site would that be bertfox?
The Don Posted 17 November 2006 Posted 17 November 2006 Think people need to chill a bit tbh. If it was a pop concert, assuming we had a ground that wouldn't fall down during it, no-one would even mention it. Its only cos its rugby, I tend to think that somepeople have got a complex over that sport!
Suffolk_fox Posted 17 November 2006 Posted 17 November 2006 LinkI know it's our stadium and that, but why are we bothered about this? Just in case any of us were interested in Rugby as well as football? Like Mrs SF and myself - we are going to it (she is S African and we both love rugby) Also, Leicester City are selling some of the tickets - I imagine they get a higher mark up for tickets they sell through the club as well as a cut of the takings. Its all good, I'm sure. And I predict the Springboks (Thats the S African teams for all you non-egg chasers) will get a severe whipping too. And Mrs SF is not so happy about that....
Bert Posted 17 November 2006 Author Posted 17 November 2006 Which rugby site would that be bertfox? Ermm www.rfu.com :pinch:
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 November 2006 Posted 17 November 2006 Of course this concerns us. Elvis is going to play fly-half.
