Your ideal outdoor temperature

Interesting discussion I had earlier.

Apparently I'm weird because I prefer the temperature, outdoors, to be in the sort of hovering around 0°C mark.

Seriously, though, that's the way I like it. Give me a cool crisp morning in November and I'm as happy as can be.

Somewhere between plus and minus five degrees C (somewhere between 25 and 40 F in old money, for some of you ;)) with no moisture or anything. Magical.

So come on, what's your favoured outdoor temperature? I imagine the 25-35 and 35+ categories will run away with this. :P

25-35 for me - Although that's a bit cráp in Leicester due to the distinct lack of a beach

In Singapore (my new favourite place in the world) the average daytime temp all year round is around 30

i was discussing this at work yesterday, with regards to forcing amaryllis bulbs to flower in feb. and they need to be forced at 21 degrees C which, i also declared, is a perfect 'working' temperature.

15 - 25 is a bit of a gap though! ;)

The one where fat blokes with baseball caps walk around shopping centres with their beer guts hanging loose

Every weekend when there's no football on. You can't beat the feel of the wind on your flesh

I'm glad someone else agrees with me.

I guess we're just all season type of guys then!

I don't get centigrade - where's the button that converts to fahrenheit?

Just go to Google and type:

25C in F for example and it'll tell you what it converts to in F. ;)

As a vague guide,

-10c is 14F,

0c is 32F,

20c is 68F,

30c is 86F.

As a rough guide, double it (the centigrade temp ) and add 30 thats close enough for working out what not to wear.

love from Frank.
