Leicfox Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 I think we're moving from the area known as 'dreaming' to the area the experts like to refer to as 'complete fantasy'. I've seen it all now. On the one hand, people keep pointing out how little MM likes to spend on players, and on the other hand we have people seriously considering the possibility of Ranieri becoming the new boss! There's a total logic disconnect somewhere in the forum populations' collective brain. Well its all about opinions, weather they be weird, right or damn right silly. Ive voted Ranieri too. It's important to dream. But people are actually trying to justify it, almost as if they seriously believe we're in with a shout.
Tommeh Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 I'd love to see Kelly stay and succeed with us. As it's thanks to him we are still in this league If anyone I'd say Jamie Redknapp, Ideal manager would be Kevin Keegan though but hes not on the list

lookwhaticando Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 Jamie Redknapp or Kevin Keegan? Have I slipped into another realm of sanity or something? Some of the suggestions have indeed been nuttier than squirrel droppings.
Joe. Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 I voted any other because I seriously think Curbs would be interested in the job should it become available.

Kilworthfox Posted 27 November 2006 Author Share Posted 27 November 2006 realistic? so you put Ranieri on there? ok some more realistic than others but he is most popular at the moment who is to say if MM were to be in charge than he would not come? lookwhaticando Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 The fans wouldn't approve of Ranieri anyway. Some fans hated Levein's constant tinkering. Ranieri IS "The Tinker-man"

Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 If we got Ranieri i think he could achieve and even be more popular than MON ever was I think he would be a quality manager but let's be realistic here. Depends how much money we are willing to offer a manager to come here. Everyone has price, you would be surprised who we could bring in if Milan waved a bit of cash in their direction. bald reynard Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 Old player / experienced coach = Rob Kelly / experienced coach (or 'Director of Football') - I don't know who (who is available - don't say Bertie Bassett / Streetcrawler Pleat / Rob 'Yer Car Reid etc etc ?!) Unit Posted 27 November 2006 Share Posted 27 November 2006 I think he was linked with the job a while ago. So no reason to say he would not want it now. Although I still think its early to be talking about our next manager when we still have one. just told my dad about that and he kicked off, he's an oxford fan and i think it'll take a lot to get him away from there. He managed them when they won the milk cup god knows how long ago and has recently bought them so i really can't see him going.
