87fox Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 My favourite place to go is Mosh, always a good night on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus the drinks are a damn sight cheaper! It's a different matter on Fridays and Saturdays as it's not student night and the girls in there are predominantly locals... You don't have to have a collar on to get in to Liquid, but why you'd want to go there anyway I'm not too sure. Loaded Dog is good but I can accept if you're not a student it might not be so much fun...

To be honest when you've lived in London for a few years Leicester isn't particularly appealing. It's all a bit samey. And that's not London arrogance (well, maybe a bit!) it's just a fact.

My bro in law used to DJ there at about the time you posted this,maybe you caught him?had a few good nights in there,also my stag night started in there which ended up being a big mistake as guzzling 12% lager like its going out of fashion isnt a good start as it bollocks the rest of my night up big style.

Ye o4 gets one or two treats, although I made the fatal error of shouting 'who wants a snog' down the stairwell not too long ago as a group of what appeared to be some attractive crumpet ventured around one of the bends, what followed will haunt me forever. A large female land mammal came up behind them and began to what can only be described as sucking my face off. I was that pissed I think I enjoyed it though

Then go to Life at about 11.30 and you wont be dissapointed, hefty amount of pussy out aswell.... STUDENTS! Forget fridays, crap in town as theres no-one about. Go out on saturday straight to 'The Parody', mainly for the buy one get one free deals on loads drinks. Then pop off to any 3 of Lloyds The Glasshouse Yates' Marz Walkabout Then end up in Liquid or Life. Im not indie so no mosh for me thanks, mostly because its full of arctic monkey wanabees wearing tight jeans/gay shoes/dogy stripey tops, NO THANKS! Also the women in there could easily pass for men.

The last one I recall was a hair dresser from Beaumont Leys, she sent me a picture of her in her undies, all was looking very good and I was definately taking her back that night, then when I met her in person and saw her boat race.....oooooh dear.....abort mission, abort mission. I never went back there in case I bumped into her again seeing I blanked her from then on.

To be fair mate, I used to go to some of those places you mentioned when I was 18-19 so I can hardly criticise, would prefer not to go in there now but I'm a bit older now and like anyone my preferences have changed. Any bar you go in these days has it's majority of wankers!!
