Seriously, fuck off Stoke!!

Why? :dunno:

They're doing well in the top flight against all the odds. Remind me a lot of when we were up there under O'Neill.

Good luck to them.

he made up for it by playing excellent though.

Yeah def! I was saying to my bro that he is awesome when playing at the top of the diamond. I think if he plays like that week in week out he will be a strong contender for the England squad! I've always rated him and would love to see him back in an England shirt!

Any team that wins at White heart lane is fine by me. I don't get the hatred, they're doing what they have to do to stay in the league. And giving teams a real good go. Good for them IMO

Only in England could a team win a match as a direct result of injuring their opponents best player with a tackle from behind, and then the whole incident go without comment from the media or fans. I don't get it. :dunno:

I thought it was lovely to see Joe Cole back out there and even better to see Ancelotti trust him in the No.10 position. He's got such lovely touch and incredible short passing, for me he is a must start for England if he stays injury free. Will be interesting to see what Capello does, I think we might see Wazza upfront.

Lennon wasn't deliberately injured - they'd have done it earlier than the 80th min if that was their plan! Stoke have this reputation just because of the Arsenal game last year. They can't win playing fancy football so they don't - they play direct football which most teams can't deal with. I find that entertaining in itself. Pretty tasty winning goal too. Good on a team winning at a club who've spent tens/hundreds of million pounds year after year and think they're one of the big boys. Enjoy it pal :)

Not sure if lennon was seriously injured but it looked like nothing, footballers these days eh?

It looked to me as if Lennon moved his left leg in and the Stoke player caught him then as his foot just hit the ground.

Probably nothing to serious.

Probably not, thats why I find it 'odd' that lennon refused to stay on, of course if it turns out to be a serious injury fair enough but surely he could at the very least just stayed on the wing as his manager wanted him to do.

It wouldnt have happend in the old days ya know! ;)

I know the guy didn't go out to do him in, it wasn't that sort of tackle. But he was nowhere near the ball and coming in from behind, all he was ever going to do was bring Lennon down. There was nothing determined about it, just utterly reckless. Pretty typical of the 'physical' teams in the Premiership.

As for those who say Lennon should have stayed on. Looked to me like Lennon went over on his ankle during the foul, running around with potential ligament damage is pretty stupid.

That Diamanti looks like a real find for West Ham, new Di Canio?

He did look impressive. Interesting to see how he plays for the whole season and if he can keep up his good form while his team struggle.

I never saw much of Di Canio. Although I do remember that quality scissor-kick goal :D

I thought that was a total joke when Keown was saying what a great player he is. After less than 1 half.

He's not normally in the starting line up for them, and comes on after 55 minutes and plays well, all of a sudden he's a great find.

Look at Di Michele, had a cracking game for against Man Utd last season, everyone says he's amazing and West Ham should sign him, then totally fades and now he's back at Torino in Serie B.
