Suffolk_fox Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Spurs as good as Arsenal?? In their wildest wildest dreams! Not even close!
Suffolk_fox Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Comical decision that. After the infamous Beachball decision, I can't see that ref having a game next week....
Anish Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Obertan, what a miss. Owen's missing a few sitters as well these days.
StanSP Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Obertan, what a miss. Owen's missing a few sitters as well these days. He was absolutely rubbish. First thing he did was to sprint down the wing, forgetting that you have to keep the ball in play . One of his misses, he should have let Owen smack it in.
Jimothy Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 How bad are Les Ferdinand and Mark Bright especially, as pundits? Bright is stuttering over every word.
lavrentis Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Anyone hear Motson just then "Carragher brings him down OHHHHHHH!!!!!! Its a red card!", Fucking hell Motson.
StanSP Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Anyone hear Motson just then "Carragher brings him down OHHHHHHH!!!!!! Its a red card!", Fucking hell Motson. He should have quit ages ago. Hate when he does England matches.
sdb Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 How bad are Les Ferdinand and Mark Bright especially, as pundits? Bright is stuttering over every word. I had to watch BBC final score yesterday...Martin Keown and Garth Crooks (Gabby Logan presenting too). Honestly I could have smashed my TV, they collectively know f-all about football.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 2 November 2009 Posted 2 November 2009 He should have quit ages ago.Hate when he does England matches. Even though he doesn't do England matches anymore, after he retired from doing live football on television. No more Motty, except on MOTD and 5Live. Now's the question of who gets his slot... Pearce, Wilson (yes please), Mowbray, Brotherton???
StanSP Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Bent dived. Shearer says Bent won out of him, Crouch and Defoe in front of Capello, and then goes on to explain how Crouch and him did similar stuff, and then how Defoe set up a goal. Bent didn't really stand out
iancognito Posted 8 November 2009 Posted 8 November 2009 Shearer says..... Nothing much worth paying attention to and should be ignored. Spineless, face-kicking idiot.
StanSP Posted 8 November 2009 Posted 8 November 2009 Nothing much worth paying attention to and should be ignored. Spineless, face-kicking idiot. Good point.
C-man Posted 8 November 2009 Posted 8 November 2009 Arsenal's third was glorious. Why did Motson slate Stuart Attwell for doing the common sense thing and not producing a card when it got heated between Jordan and Zabaleta? The best thing in that situation is to calmly diffuse the aggro, not brand 17 cards in an overly officious manner (which the FA would no doubt love - gets them a bit of fine money). I used to love Motty growing up but the guy's simply not with it anymore.

It's like fancy football, but it's done with so much precision that it virtually always pays off.
C-man Posted 8 November 2009 Posted 8 November 2009 The Fabregas one? Indeed. Great desire and skill to pick a pass from Sagna; the most superb lay off from Van Persie and a wonderful finish from Fabregas. They really do make it look so easy on such a regular basis. Love it.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 November 2009 Posted 8 November 2009 Never realised Darren Bent was a diving cheat arsehole, so glad Gomes saved the penalty.
StanSP Posted 8 November 2009 Posted 8 November 2009 Never realised Darren Bent was a diving cheat arsehole, so glad Gomes saved the penalty. It was justice done when Gomes saved it. Huddlestone's goal though

StanSP Posted 28 November 2009 Posted 28 November 2009 Watching the show tonight just for this moment... Same
