Leicester's 12th Man Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 What were your first impressions? I liked the welcome he got from the crowd. He looked a bit short of match fitness. I think his first touch (the headed flick on) contributed a good move. His cross was decent, forcing the keeper to punch it. I think he was ignored by Hume (iirc) who should have switched it across the field. A good first impression on me.
Leicester Lass Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 I really can't see why people were impressed with him. I thought he was terrible.

Flynny Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 Decent is what I'd say. He seemed a little more positive than most of our players, anyway. Not really fair to judge him just from a sub appearance, though.
Webbo Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 signing him really disapointed me. i didn't think he contributed much, a bit to early to tell tbh.
Thracian Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 If he were an Academy player you'd all be saying send him off for a couple of month's loan to get match fit. Laughable selection.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 I really can't see why people were impressed with him. I thought he was terrible. What game were you watching?! (I agree. I thought he was off the pace badly - not exactly his fault.)

Good start - but we've been here before with right-wingers recently...
Webbo Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 What game were you watching?! (I agree. I thought he was off the pace badly - not exactly his fault.) so you thought that he was badly off the pace but good?
Jimmy Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 a few good touches a decent cross, decent debut but lets judge him when he's fully upto speed
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 so you thought that he was badly off the pace but good? No, I thought he was badly off the pace and bad. The "what game were you watching" comment was a joke cos she was sat a couple of rows in front of me.
Simi Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 a few good touches a decent cross, decent debut but lets judge him when he's fully upto speed Fair review I think.
lildave3 Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 Watching him shoot pre-match and at half time i noticed that he has a good shot on him, but 50% of the time it will go flying over the bar. Think he did ok, but too early to judge really. After all, we thought Josh Low looked good on his debut
lcfc_jme Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 Not outstanding. Not the worst player in the squad. Although apart from winning a couple of headers and putting in 1 or 2 crosses, he didn't really do too much.

Think he did ok, but too early to judge really. After all, we thought Josh Low looked good on his debut I noticed that during the warm up they were all powerful but not really going in the corners. It will be better to judge if he gets a go from the start with a bit more fitness.
potter3 Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 He was alright, an improvent on any other right winger. I would have given him a 6
Mort Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 Seemed interested, that more than you can say for most of the planks out there today... beyond that though, you've really got to give him a couple of starts, I mean at the Burnley match we where so use to Maybury on the right than Low's sub appreance seemed promising
AyewJoking Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 Yeah seemed to know what he was doing but really need to see more of him. Wonder how long before frustration kicks in...............
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 Looks unfit. Although not as bad as I expected I must admit, mind you he wasn't on the pitch for long he can hardly be judged on his performance. Some amusing comments here, I remember Josh Low getting rave reviews after playing 20 minutes against Burnley look where he is now.
Mad Dog Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 If he were an Academy player you'd all be saying send him off for a couple of month's loan to get match fit. Laughable selection. Likewise if an academy player had come on and given the 100% exact same performance as DC did you'd be singing his praises, giving him 8.5/10 in the match ratings and bemoaning the fact he hasn't been starting all season.
The People's Hero Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 This thread makes me cry. Then laugh. And then cry once more before taking a sip of tea and then weeping uncontrollably.
munf_1987 Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 well lets just say hes alot better than anyone else we have on the right, his 1st cross was good but needed to be attacked alot better. looks like he could be a bargin when fully fit so lets wait and see.
Joe. Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 I really can't see why people were impressed with him. I thought he was terrible. I was impressed. I just can't see how you thought he was terrible. He's a lot lot better than what we've already got.
Wils Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 He didnt exactly set the place alight did he. But were we expecting him to?He did better than alot of our other players. Not exactly the answer though.
Wilkesy Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 Didnt do much but he how could he with us defending for most of the time that he was on, he did put one decent cross in though
