Southern Comfort (especially the 100% proof 50% ABV import one).

As far as a genuine whiskey per se goes, it'd have to be any one of the Irish/Scottish single malts served at my local. They have almost 200 different single malts.

To be honest though, when it comes to shorts, I usually go for so-co or martell (or another cheapish cognac).

The Highland or Speyside Whiskies always seem to be a bit too strong flavoured for my taste.
