He has only started 4 times for Villa since O`Leary signed him apparently. He would be what we needed and we could have slung Henderson in a deal but hey, its all hyperthetical garbage now!
lookwhaticando Posted 12 January 2007 Posted 12 January 2007 there's only so long his reputation can survive on the back of that 5 month period. i'm not convinced by him, not by a long way. Exactly the point I made in my earlier critique of his Crystal Palace era. He once managed to turn a club's season around completely, and got to 6th place. The next time he was in that league he had a full season to make something happen, and he still only managed 6th place, with just two points more than before. Half-season wonder is all he is for now.

We're in danager of being held to ransome if Milan comes in!... as opposed to being able to snap up our targets in the window for reasonable fees like we are now!
