Daggers Posted 12 January 2007 Posted 12 January 2007 Full-time 2-0. That means we are DEFINITELY going to lose 4-1 tomorrow. Phew...I was worried.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 January 2007 Posted 12 January 2007 Update: I beat Derby 4-2, a late Andy Johnson penalty sealing the win. Hmm.
Daggers Posted 12 January 2007 Posted 12 January 2007 Update: I beat Derby 4-2, a late Andy Johnson penalty sealing the win. Hmm. Cock it! I was betting he'd been sent off. Wankstains!
Brummie-FOX Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 My cousin used to work for Leicester and has told me, as he knows rob kelly, that kelly is looking to bring in atleast 4 players. The names that were thrown around were Nathan Tyson (forest) , joey gudjonson (Alkmar) , kevin lisbie (Charlton) and olivier bernard (Newcastle) among others. these are probably the most well known out of the ones I no Football-rumours.
morris1234 Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 Football-rumours. id prefer izale mcleod to tyson!! btw correct me if wrong but izale hasnt had much interest from clubs, sooooooo would you want him in?? personally i would, my brother plays for their academy(mk dons) and they get some free tickets and says izale has got too much pace for leicester and is aggresive which we could do with. i reckon give him a go i reckon. and yes i know its league 2 most of our players are from lower down divisions (mcauley - quality, hume-quality,fryatt-can be quality just not at the minute) but i cant think of how much we ould have to pay, there has been talks of billy sharp bids of around 700k+ so it wouldnt be more than that would it? but everyone has their opinions!!
breadandcheese Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 id prefer izale mcleod to tyson!! Mcleod is a good shout. Good player with the potential to reach the top. Only thing is MK Dons won't let him go till the Summer. Martin Allen accepted his transfer request in the summer saying, we'll put you up for sale, see the interest, but if there is none, I want a full season of dedicated play from you. No-one made a bid for him. Add to that Allen won't allow MK Dons to make the mistake that Brentford made selling their top striker midway through a season and scuppering promotion plans. The sale of DJ Campbell from under him was the reason he walked out on Brentford. Speaking of DJ Campbell, Birmngham have more strikers than a trade union. They're not going to keep all of them happy so we would probably be able to pick one or two up. Now they've bought Vine, they've got him, McSheffrey, Bendtner (looking to make permanent if they get promoted), Jerome, Campbell, Forsell. At least one must be available.

Leonisco Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 Allardyce has a good track record with re-vitalising players careers, but £1 million? That's quite a gamble for a player who doesn't play more than 10 games a season. His wages will be quite substantial aswell. Free transfer fair enough, but that's a massive gamble for a club who rarely pay money for players. £1mil is an absolute bargain for David Dunn - don't forget a couple of years ago he was in the England team and everyone was raving about how he was gonna be the next big thing. On his day he is absolute quality.
lcfcire Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 Championship trio Sunderland, Leicester and Stoke are all chasing RKC Waalwijk defender Cerezo Fung a Wing. The three English clubs have watched the defender in action on several occasions this season. Fung has impressed for RKC this term despite their struggles in De Eredivisie with the side sitting rock bottom of the table. The 23-year-old's future at RKC is up in the air with his current contract due to expire in the summer. RKC have an option to extend Fung's contract, but the Dutchman is unsure what his future holds. "I am willing to stay for a longer period in Waalwijk, however I want to know my future soon," Fung told De Telegraaf. Sunderland, Leicester and Stoke could all wait until next summer before making a move for Fung as he will be available on a free transfer.
Flynny Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 WHAT a name! It doesn't say where he plays. Is he a centre-back or does he play left or right?
Leonisco Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 Defender Is this really what we need? We don't really need to strengthen the defence, but if he's better than what we already have, there's no reason why we shouldn't sign him and clear out one or two players. BTW, loverofinsanefox, whereabouts in Surrey are you? As we speak I'm currently in Shalford (near Guildford).
loverofinsanefox Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 Ah, I know Shalford, especially considering I live in Guildford You know Jacobs Well?
Leonisco Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 Ah, I know Shalford, especially considering I live in Guildford You know Jacobs Well? Errr, no I'm not actually from the area, I'm visiting my grandparents for the weekend.
Mort Posted 13 January 2007 Posted 13 January 2007 Defender Is this really what we need? Oh Dear... what is it with RK and getting defenders, if he wants he can have a team of the bastards!... why does he do it?!... could it be that he's not got a clue? <_<

BTW, loverofinsanefox, whereabouts in Surrey are you? As we speak I'm currently in Shalford (near Guildford). I think we still do need to strengthen the defence, especially the fullbacks! I dont know who this bloke is but lets start creating a song just in case. It should be easy

Not just some crappy rumour!!!!

I'll have it on the back of my shirt. Hopefully he's a replacement for McCarthy.
Brummie-FOX Posted 14 January 2007 Posted 14 January 2007 Am I the only one who finds it hard to believe he's Dutch?
morris1234 Posted 14 January 2007 Posted 14 January 2007 Am I the only one who finds it hard to believe he's Dutch? seriously and how much do you reckon kelly is gonna waste on him, yes he might be good but nobody knows. all positions in our squad need strengthening i suppose.
Brummie-FOX Posted 14 January 2007 Posted 14 January 2007 It does say that they may wait until the summer as he will be available on a free transfer.
Daggers Posted 14 January 2007 Posted 14 January 2007 My cousin used to work for Leicester This is great, we are now getting info straight from the horses mouth. Well, straight from some part of the horse anyway. Add this to what Man on Bus 2 says and we are cruising the information highway. Oh yes.
