Manwell Pablo Posted 11 January 2007 Posted 11 January 2007 I've just heard the news. Right winger is essential, but I think Kelly will just keep Hughes or Cadamarteri out there. I still think we need a new striker if we can get rid of Hammond or/and O'Grady Well if we could off load one of them for 100k and sign Pawel Abbott I'd be very happy, you don't turn into a bad player over night.

Horrible player to play against aswell, physical and strong but got a good touch and awareness which is what we lack.

What's the point? We know he's good enough at this level and to loan him out would suggest that Henderson is now the number one for a while to come yet. Especially as Henderson's deals up in the summer.

It wouldnt be ideal to loan out Logan as I thought he played well when he came in but I suppose it will make sense to let the lad go and play some games if Kelly sticks to Henderson as aposed to sitting on the bench as he has done in the last few games?

I can't see the point of it. In my mind, Logan was replaced by Henderson to freshen things up. We've had a few decent results since Henderson has been back in goal, but we've still shipped a fair few goals aswell. It could all change and Logan could be drafted back in again soon if we go on a similar run, we have lost the past few league games. If that happens i'd hope Logan was on hand to come straight back in and not stuck on loan.

Its a weird one because RK doesnt seem to know his best team or maybe has either had to change due to injuries and suspensions or just keeps players in if they are doing well. I suppose thats what happened with Logan and when he seemed to get beaten it was from unreal strikes but if he thinks Henderson is a little bit better now, it makes sense to keep Logans momentum as a first teamer going at another club. I personally would prefer Logan between the sticks for us BTW!

We'd need to sign another striker to play alongside Fryatt as Elvis, O'Grady and Cadamarteri can't be relied upon.

Surely we'd get about £250k for him if someone is willing to pay £100k for Low?! Not saying he's amazing, but kicking aside he's put in some good performances for us. Particularly against Villa...

Plus I think he's nothing special, so i'd take £50,000.

One thing he has got going for him is that as keepers go, he hasnt got the same build of a Crossley, Pressman, Rab Douglas and some of the other porkers. He must have at least 5 years ahead of him as a GK and anyway, any purchase will of him will just be as a back up. He is worth £300k, at least, so get fooking bidding!
