Phlashman Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 My uncle's brother's son heard that Rob Kelly brings potential new players to the walker on a Gondola down the canal to help woo them. So that's where you want to be looking out for new signings.
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Danny Invincible is good on FM, wonder if hes good in real life?
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 True!true!true! kelly won't leave for dowie. Leicester City are definately set to sign Charlton stand in skipper matthew holland for 500k and sign izale mclead for 500k and part exchange Alan sheehan. Leicester will try to loan craig Beattie from Celtic but will fail instead they will look to sign right winger danny invincible from Kilmarnock for an undisclosed fee. I was in the ticket office at the Walkers Stadium to pick up the Fulham away match tickets, Rob Kelly came out of his car, followed by Matt Holland of Charlton Athletic. Holland has been mentioned in and around the Leicester City fans, and is probably Rob Kelly's number one target as soon as Mandaric completes his takeover at the club. It is believed the fee will be around £300, 000. football rumours Yes, the MK dons are going to let a player they want 1 Million for go for £500,000 and the world beater that is Alan Sheehan when they already have one of the best left backs in the league. Why is it everyone thinks their club is going to sign Danny Invincible? Seriously why do people bother posting stuff off FR on here? I've never ever a transfere on there happen.
London_Fox Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Seriously why do people bother posting stuff off FR on here? I've never ever a transfere on there happen. Law of stastics...they post so much stuff that some of it has to come true...
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Law of stastics...they post so much stuff that some of it has to come true... It doesn't though...... ever! the only time it's right is when something that has already been reported on the BBC pops up on there.

bold_fox Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 That Runaldoinho geezer from Real Barcelona. Yeah, he's supposed to be pretty handy if heard.
Geo V Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Yeah, he's supposed to be pretty handy if heard. Forget him as he cheats. He keeps passing the ball looking the other way and passes the ball using his back. He needs to be banned

Ric Flair Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Erm... has no one noticed that Holland is playing fairly regularly for Charlton? As I recently said, the lad is Charlton's captain at the minute whilst Luke Young is out injured. What would you do? Stay as captain of a premiership team, albeit a struggling one or up sticks and come to a struggling championship club and play alongside Danny Tiatto?. My brain hurts with the indecisiveness of this conudrum.
Babylon Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 They are talking balls. MM wouldnt travel on a train with us lowlifes. Errrr yes he does, every time he comes to Leicester for a game it is via train.
brookfox Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Some cake? That depends, is it to eat or to have?
Daggers Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Errrr yes he does, every time he comes to Leicester for a game it is via train. Hmmm...so do I. *strokes chin* I wonder if he could be my secret alterego and why we have never been in the same place together at the same time? Hmmm...

Be nice if it was - Holland, Varney, izale mclead & someone else ? heres the full post ...I happened to rest my beady eagle eye on one Mr Milan Manderic as I strolled up the platform. So I forced my cohorts (1 leics 1 colchester 1 doncaster(!)) to sit in the same carriage so that i could pounce once the doors were closed. Had a lovely five minute chat with him. What a nice bloke. Really open and genuine. You can tell he's a football man through and through, when he's a multi millionaire but he's strolling to the ground from Colchester train station with the rest of the fans in his Savile Row suit. I asked him about the buy out - he huffed a little and seemed exhausted by the length of time it was all taking. He said that there were a lot of shareholders to convince, and it has dragged on. But you could tell he was adamant he'd get over any problems and get the sale through, and he said he will get it done late next week if all goes to plan. He used a strange analogy to describe the club at this point. He likened us to a ship out at sea, bobbing around and not having any direction since we came out of administration. He said there was more work to do at the club than anyone really probably realises, and I expressed that city fans (proper ones with memories I mean), know that these things don't rectify themselves overnight and that we're a patient bunch on the whole and we all really want him to buy the club and take us back to the prem where we belong. He responded by saying "i hope the fans want that" with a slightly apprehensive sort of shrug, which I thought was nice as he clearly is a man that likes to be liked and you can tell he wants to ultimately make us all happy and to see a full Walkers going crazy as a result of his help and intervention. The only real tit bit of info that you won't have read in the press that he let me into was that he's already discussed the immediate purchase of four players as soon as the buy out goes through. He said his main concern was ensuring we don't get dragged into a relegation fight, and from there on it's about pushing up the table. Obviously his investment is worth a lot less if we go down, so it makes sense that a large investment will come straight away rather than holding it back until the summer. Overall tho, he was a lovely bloke who didn't mind chatting it over with me. You can really tell he's a football man, and that we're in for the most interesting time in our history under him. And as for the game - the atmos from the blue army was great. "My microwave is bigger than this" to the tune of "oh when the saints". And how can we forget poor old "ginger bollocks" in the front row of the home support who got a fair amount of flack. As did Danny Cadamatari, who got drugs related banter from both sets of supporters, but took it all in good spirit and even made out to the home support that he had a stash in his jacket, according to my Colchester mate. Lookin forward to catching my second away game in 5 days when you lot come down to the smoke for the Fulham game. The Beard.
