Guest Gist Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 We haven't discussed things that far with the club because at the minute we're only on trial. If it is a success during the trial period, we will be given the block on a regular basis from next season. Should it continue to grow, then I can't see the club being able to prevent people from moving across and the area expanding. I think a massive growth if we got too big for block N would seriously force them to reconsider switching the Kop and the Family Stand. As I say though, we haven't discussed things that far and it is all "ifs" at the moment. Right, well I hope it expands enough to get the Kop over there then
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Think'll probabley sit there against Cov, assuming you don't sell out .

This is what we'd hope to happen but we're not counting on it right now. We're just basically hoping to get it off the ground at this stage and generate enough support so we can continue it into next season. If this happens, we'll start thinking bigger and more long term. Think'll probabley sit there against Cov, assuming you don't sell out . Manwell, are you feeling ok?!? You want to be a part?! We won't sell out there's noway we'll get 800 for the Cov game, so you're more than welcome to come across if you want to make a noise. Just don't argue with me!

No problem with singing me, I backed the idea when you first suggested it im just not happy about the block (although now the reasons have been explained to me, if it has to be that way it has to be that way) and I'm worried about dick heads turning up thinking your new area = free for all.
Floating Fox Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Crap atmosphere today. Hands sting. No gloves = Crap atmosphere You can't say the confetti wasn't good though ! More will be ready for cov game as well

Nah I didn't think the block made you too happy from reading your posts! But that is the way it has to be, we originally wanted to go there, and the club actually thought it'd be a good idea as well, so that's where we'll be housed. It seemed to create quite a bit of excitement amongst people. As for the d*ckheads turning up and ruining it all - it won't happen I don't think. The club said they're aware of the people who they suspect cause trouble in L1, and so they won't allow them to come across with us anyway. This is another reason they want details of as many people as they can have before we move in there - it'll help them to know whether there's a person who's likely to cause trouble.

The real Hooligans DO not sit in L1.
lcfc_jme Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 The real Hooligans DO not sit in L1. No they may not - but as far as most fans, as well as the club, are concerned, L1 has a very negative image, and so it is perceived that most of the hooligans do sit there. The club are also aware that hooligans are buying tickets for other places in the ground and are trying to migrate across to L1 once the game has started.
Leicfox Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 All corners covered then. I'll certainly join in if and when i make the trip down to visit family. Will the ultras be travelling too or is this just for home games ?

Will the ultras be travelling too or is this just for home games ? We will be aiming to travel to as many away games as possible and hopefully all bunched together. Many of us already travel to away games but don't get grouped together. We'll have to see how it takes off at home first - at the minute it is sounding very promising in principle. If it does, we can start thinking about doing away games together as a group as well.

Leicfox Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Great stuff, like an idependant supporters club then. This sounds excellent i hope it does take off. Edit - It won't be independant would it as the clubs involved. Im not sure if that still classes as independant.
lcfc_jme Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Will palace be as a group? Depending on how Cov goes and how many of those in Block N would be interested, then I'd say it was possible.. Only if we could guarantee we'd get something together and act fast after the Cov game though. Otherwise I fear it may come too early to do anything as a group.
Simi Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Will palace be as a group? I'm organising going to Palace with Jamie, so I hope it can be
Simi Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 I'm on the back row. BAGSY. Also I would like to BAGSY a back row seat
Bert Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Also I would like to BAGSY a back row seat Your not old enough.
davieG Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 You should ask them to make the area unreserved seating, well apart from those who already have season tickets. You can then all sit where you like and with your mates whoever happens to be attending that match.

You can then all sit where you like and with your mates whoever happens to be attending that match. At the minute, I'd say the area is still unreserved seating. The only reason we're collecting details off of the interested STHs is so that they can be allocated a seat in that block for the trial free of charge. Speaking of which, any Season Ticket Holders reading this thread, if you're interested in coming along, could you please PM me with your block, row, seat number and client reference code please? I need to know them asap so that I can have everything sorted in advance. Thanks.

I doubt very much indded it will be unreserved seating.
