dandannieldanok Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 Arsenal Youngsters Walcott and Denilson are being lined up for season long loan deals at LEICESTER CITY next season. (three quarters page down) sorry if already done http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/ Where did this come from? 2 reasons why that won't happen: 1. Has anything ever come true that has been posted on that website. 2. The person who posted it also wrote this underneath: Also Expect Peter Taylor to make a dramatic return to the walkers bringing James Scowcroft and Junior Lewis with him
Zingari Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 you missed this bit; Also Expect Peter Taylor to make a dramatic return to the walkers bringing James Scowcroft and Junior Lewis with him so long as they've got tickets who can stop them
Who ate all the pies? Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 Same shoddy site says "Jermaine Beckford and Luke Varney Will Sign For Leicester City Football Club 07/ 08 Season." and then follows it up with 100% true. Well it has me convinced now, I was sceptical at first, but if it's 100% true who am I to argue?
Brainy Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 I nearly started to cry when I saw the bit about Junior Lewis.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 Saw these rumours today.........they made me laugh(apart from the top one)!!! Leicester City will complete the permanent signings of Todorov and Hughes from Portsmouth in the summer. Luke Moore will also join the club on loan from Villa. Rab Douglas and Stephen Hughes of Leicester will move to Gretna in the summer with their promotion to the SPL imminent.
SystonFox Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 i cannot wait to see this junior lewis guy play for forest.

davieG Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Link 1 , Link 2 Dejan Stefanovic has declared he wants to play out his career with Portsmouth. "I'm all honest with all the people at the club and we're going to sit down in the summer and see what will happen," Stefanovic, a target for Leicester City, told Sky Sports News. "We haven't spoken yet but there's plenty of time - another three or four months left at least. "I've still got a contract for another year until 2008 so I'm fully committed to this club. "Milan Mandaric is interested but I want to finish my career at Portsmouth football club."

amitoo Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Zack Knight is apparently ready to be offloaded so i think that could be a good buy for us or even loan him next season if he isn't snapped up
Alabama Man Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Zack Knight is apparently ready to be offloaded so i think that could be a good buy for us or even loan him next season if he isn't snapped up Do you mean Zat? Now he would be a good signing
Geo V Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Zack Knight is apparently ready to be offloaded so i think that could be a good buy for us or even loan him next season if he isn't snapped up I cant see that happening at all. Isnt he club captain now Boa Morte has left? He alson played for England last year I think so I wouldnt think we can attract him down to us. Im sure someone who has dodgy defenders like Bolton or Newcastle would be ahead of us for his signature.
wazza fox Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Zack Knight is apparently ready to be offloaded so i think that could be a good buy for us or even loan him next season if he isn't snapped up That would be a great signing although i have to say thats the first ive heard of it. Hope it happens
Alabama Man Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 That would be a great signing although i have to say thats the first ive heard of it. Hope it happens Yeah me too. Good player, it's the first I've heard of it as well. You can't always believe these rumours though Wazza!
bold_fox Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 I like the sounds of this rumour ! Enjoy. Rumours about Robbie Fowler join LCFC are wrong, but a striker will be joining the foxes, and it will be Teddy Sheringham of all people! this is 100% true Also........ Leicester City will complete the permanent signings of Todorov and Hughes from Portsmouth in the summer. Luke Moore will also join the club on loan from Villa. Rab Douglas and Stephen Hughes of Leicester will move to Gretna in the summer with their promotion to the SPL imminent. thank god !
Brainy Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 The only one I can take seriously is the Sheringham one. It wouldn't be past Milan/Rob to offer him a role at Leicester. Portsmouth Promotion Push 02/03 - Sheringham
Alabama Man Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 I like the sounds of this rumour ! Enjoy. Also........ thank god ! I like the sounds of these!! Great informative post, thank you Bold Fox

Alabama Man Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Thanks Alabama man i aim to please. If your aim is to please then you have accomplished that. You have pleasured me today.
Thracian Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Sheringham is the type of experienced player whose quality could be worth having, even in small cameos. And, he's a near post man which is something we haven't really had since Tony Cottee. His presence would offer a lift too cos he's someone all our strikers could learn from.

For sure, I think it may alsoo be worth bringing him in on a coaching role. He has so much to offer. Lets see hey.
