Stevosevic Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 The only one I can take seriously is the Sheringham one. It wouldn't be past Milan/Rob to offer him a role at Leicester. Portsmouth Promotion Push 02/03 - Sheringham Sheringham signed once they were in the premiership
Bloomer Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Sheringham is the type of experienced player whose quality could be worth having, even in small cameos. And, he's a near post man which is something we haven't really had since Tony Cottee. His presence would offer a lift too cos he's someone all our strikers could learn from. Just don't let him near your wife!
Zingari Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Just don't let him near your wife! he just needs a sniff of the box and he's in
Bloomer Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 he just needs a sniff of the box and he's in Excellent penetration.
Geo V Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Sherringham is a little too old to be part of the playing staff for me. I cant see him moving away from the London lifestyle he loves either. I hope this one doesnt happen unless he comes in as player/coach with the playing bit being only in desperation.

Leicfox Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Where are these loan players we've been promised. Lies, lies & LCFC.
fosseman Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Where are these loan players we've been promised. Lies, lies & LCFC. Nobody wants to join LCFC, not even on loan. Fact.
lookwhaticando Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 I like the sounds of these!! Great informative post, thank you Bold Fox It's from a highly dodgy source and shouldn't be trusted at all. Pinch of salt stuff. It's the same Website that told us Micky Adams was being lined up for a sensational return to the club after his sacking by Coventry.
Geo V Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 A little to old? the blokes pulling in winter fuel allowances. Strangely two or three above want him to come on board. He is too old to make a big difference for us but Im sure he can teach a few things to the strikers as a coach. I cant see neither player or coach move happening.
lookwhaticando Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Les Ferdinand is doing his coaching badges at the minute I think (or something closely related to coaching badges)... perhaps he'd be interested in teaching our strikers?
Babylon Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Where are these loan players we've been promised. Lies, lies & LCFC. For goodness sake, there is no point in just getting someone for the sake of it. If the players we want aren't allowed to come by their clubs you can't do much about it!!! Plus they were never promised.

Leicester seem to be playing very well right now why spoil the chem with a loan signing
harpendenfox Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Leicester seem to be playing very well right now why spoil the chem with a loan signing Indeed. A much more pleasing loan signing would be to recruit the charming looking young lady depicted in your avatar, and have her walk around the perimter selling programmes in place of the current group of charming yet very 'experienced' women. I have no doubt that such a signing would prove highly popular with many of us of a certain age
JoeyB Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 a mate of mine told me that he'd heard on that Leicester are considering bringing back terracing. sounds like a silly idea imo because the ground would look stupid. all seater stadium changed to all terracing
gosfox Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 a mate of mine told me that he'd heard on that Leicester are considering bringing back terracing. sounds like a silly idea imo because the ground would look stupid. all seater stadium changed to all terracing Please forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't terracing banned ???
He's not bald Posted 2 March 2007 Posted 2 March 2007 Please forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't terracing banned ??? Yep it sure is...nice idea because of the atmosphere but it will never ever happen!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 3 March 2007 Posted 3 March 2007 Just seen on our fave website... would Alan Thompson in midfield be a possibility?? He's currently on loan at Leeds, but I think he's a good player !!!
Brainy Posted 3 March 2007 Posted 3 March 2007 Steven Reid from Blackburn!?!?! No chance!!! Man Utd were interested in him less than a year ago!
Jay Posted 3 March 2007 Posted 3 March 2007 Steven Reid from Blackburn!?!?! No chance!!! Man Utd were interested in him less than a year ago! and he's out injured for the rest of the season. it seems according to the merc the deal has now fallen through as the club no longer want to release him I am pretty sure it was John Oster made 3starts all season but then put it a great performance against Manure on Tuesday night and no is back in the frame at Reading
Leicfox Posted 3 March 2007 Posted 3 March 2007 Leicester City manager Robert Kelly today revealed that the proposed deal to sign a Premiership player on loan has fallen through. http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/details.asp?k...332007332487931 Imo it was Dejan Stefanovic.
morris1234 Posted 3 March 2007 Posted 3 March 2007 who did this http://www.addickted.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=3092 carried
Babylon Posted 3 March 2007 Posted 3 March 2007 a mate of mine told me that he'd heard on that Leicester are considering bringing back terracing. sounds like a silly idea imo because the ground would look stupid. all seater stadium changed to all terracing Considering a) you are not allowed and b) even if it was allowed the angle of the stands is too great to allow any standing sections.... I think your mate is talking out of his arse.
bold_fox Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Right then..... here's a new one.... Leicester City want to bring Australian World Cup star Jason Culina to the Walkers Stadium in the summer. (Sunday Express)
Sly Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 He's a decent player.....we'll have a team full of oz's soon though
