if you work any where there's always gossip going around about workmates etc. most of it turns out to be bullsh1t. i doubt very much whether MM would share his thoughts with your source( groundsman? steward? office staff?).

having said that it's entertaining and it gets people talking, keep it up.

Of course. I just think that rumours with a source are more reliable than ones without

Moore rejects chance to leave Villa on loan

Aston Villa striker Luke Moore has rejected the chance to go out on loan in order to fight to regain his first-team spot during the final quarter of the season.

The 21-year-old was a regular member of the side in the first part of the season before undergoing shoulder injury which sidelined him for more than four months.

Since then Villa boss Martin O'Neill has brought in John Carew, Ashley Young and Shaun Maloney to heighten competition for places up front or on the flanks - which is where Moore was employed before his injury.

But he would prefer to battle for a senior recall after scoring four goals in four reserve games rather than a temporary spell away from Villa Park to help him regain match fitness and sharpness.

Moore said: 'I wouldn't want to go out on loan to be honest. It's not something I'd do. The manager hasn't said anything to me but I think clubs have asked about me.

'I'm not keen to pursue it. There are 10 games left for Villa this season and I want to be involved. Why would I do it? It doesn't make any sense to me. I want to end this season how I started it.

'I know there are new players here now but I've seen it before. I was told that Bosko Balaban would block my way when I first got into the team at Villa.'

Moore insisted: 'I've had no problems with the shoulder. It's just unfortunate that we've had a three-week break before the Fulham game. If there had been games, I would have liked to be involved.

'Reserve football is a lot different from the Premiership. You can't get 100% sharp. I have just been putting in the 90 minutes and taking it from there.

'I could be involved in the first team now. It's just up to the manager where he involves me.'

I'd be willing to bet that we were the club he was asked to go on loan to. Or at least, we went in for him.

That's what I thought as well when I noticed it.

I think he would of been a decent addition to the squad.

just one for you all, henrik pederson is out of contract at end of the season. if we could get him on a free, i feel he would be a good signing, he is 33 but i feel he would be good experience, better than the horse

Morning all.

The start of Milan Mandaric's revolution is about to step up a full gear in the summer with the eventual aim of establishing Leicester City as a Premiership force. City are expected to tie up deals for Jason Jarrett permanently, and is to be partnered by Celtic midfielder Alan Thompson - currently on loan at Leeds. James Beattie of Everton is also set for an audacious full season loan deal from Goodison next year to increase competition for places.

LCFC IN: James Beattie (loan), Alan Thompson, Jason Culina, Jason Jarrett, Jamal Campbell-Ryce
OUT: Elvis Hammond, Rab Douglas, Stephen Hughes
Rumuors going around in Portsmouth Harry Redknapp is disillusioned under the fairly new owner Alexander Gaydemak. He feels he doesn't have the bond that he did with Milan Mandaric. Linked with this, Milan is looking at someone to work above Rob Kelly to help him out a little bit, so Harry redknapp could soon be working under new Leicester owner Milan Mandaric.

Moving on, Kolinka of PSV may be on his way to the Walkers. Mandaric has the money had is the type of player Kelly would like.

My understanding of the situation is the RK and MM are still searching the market for suitable players, but neither of them are in a rush to bring players in.

Initially MM thought it would be a good idea to bring 3 or 4 players in straight away, to strengthen the squad and ensure our status in the League. But following a few impressive performances he's going to give the players a chance to prove themselves over the rest of the season.

This explains why players like johnson, hughes, porter, etc. are fighting hard to improve their game, cos come the end of the season we can expect to see a big clear out.

Regarding the players they are looking at.

I understand Alan Smith was mentioned, but i think RK and MM are resigned to defeat. He doesn't want to play championship football.

Othe players mentioned included - Jerome Thomas, Patrick Berger, Lee Hendrie, Lennon, Todorov, Richard Hughes.

I did hear that RK was inquiring to the availability of Darren Carter of West Brom... Pretty solid player from what i hear.

RK is obviously, with the rest of the Prem and Champ managers, keeping a close eye on West Hams situation, looking pounce on a number of targets. Bobby Zamora, Christian Dailly, Calum Davenport, Nigel Quashie, Yossi Benayoun, Carlton Cole all want away from the club. But i think RK and MM would find it difficult to attract the players away from London.

Eddie Lewis and David Healy are of interest. I understand they want away from Leeds' sinking ship. Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Mark Gower and Freddy Eastwood are again of interest. But i understand the last 2 are off to Prem clubs.

The winger in question last week i understand to be Etherington, but follwoing his recent inclusion in the side, and also the media's interest in his social life, the opportunity passed.

There are a number of players that the club are looking at. A number from abroad as well. MM has a lot of contacts across Europe, and has already lined up a few future players.

Jason Culina was part of the PSV side that beat Arsenal a few weeks ago, I bet he is pissing himself when he finds out about this rumour. Champions League or The Championship? Unless he's dyslexic, we haven't got a hope in hells chance.

Look at the title of the Thread Manwell.......

Stop being pedantic. If you don't want to read unsourced rumours and gossip then don't open this thread.

And as for the anonymous sourcing, most people know where those quotes come from.

All i'm doing is posting what a source of mine has told me. I do not want to give you the details of the source because it could get them into trouble.

Go back to playing Final Fantasy XII Manwell if this sort of stuff bothers you !
