lookwhaticando Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 They ain't no ordinary couple. Yup... a brother/sister couple think that Germany's law banning incest is out of date and a breach of their civil rights. The bloke has already done two years of jail time for doing his sister... and will be sent down again unless the law is adjusted. As for their kids, they came from a smaller gene pool, unluckily enough. There may be trouble ahead.
Phube Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 Just... sooooo... wrong... (But if they do change the law, there'll be weddings galore in Coalville!!! )
Zingari Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 Just... sooooo... wrong... (But if they do change the law, there'll be weddings galore in Coalville!!! ) and in royal circles ( nothing much changes there though) hey up where's me chin gone p.s. why is catherine tate pictured in the article
Rincewind Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 Think of the chaos in the vales of Derbyshire if the bestality laws are changed.
Zingari Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 quote from the guardian; "Napoleon abolished France's incest laws in 1810. Neither is it a crime in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal or Turkey. Japan, Argentina and Brazil have also legalised it in recent years." i always assumed incest was illegal almost everywhere

Guest Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 i always assumed incest was illegal almost everywhere I think it's morally frowned upon in many places, however each to their own (quite literally in some places it seems).

My best mate started fooling around with his sister and one thing led to another and they started seeing each-other. He has no trouble with his mother-in-law as its his mum and Christmas is great fun too. The kids turned out beautiful as well which proves that genetically there will be no problems for this type of reproducing relationship.

The only practical thing that springs to mind is pregnancy, because there's a higher risk of permanent damage to the children and/or miscarriage (blood lines too close to one another). However, it is widely accepted when distant cousins get together or marry.

The only practical thing that springs to mind is pregnancy, because there's a higher risk of permanent damage to the children and/or miscarriage (blood lines too close to one another). However, it is widely accepted when distant cousins get together or marry. A few years ago I went to Cyprus for the first time as an adult (had previously been on family holiday about 20 years ago) and I was presented to all my cousins who I had never met. When I say that my heart sunk when I laid eyes on the three sisters from one uncle it would be an understatement. Three real beauties who I honestly remember thinking I`d like to pork when I first met them. Not being fussy, I would have taken either one !! Obviously once the dust settled and my blurred vision cleared, I decided not to try anything because there dad would have probably have shot me and I would have bought disgrace to my family, as well of having to hear "You dirty little barsteward" in Greek from the attacked cousins! Still, we are good friends now but life at times isnt fair !!
Zingari Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 surely lots of it must have been going on in adam and eve's (and their offspring's) day or is this story just not true and did the priest at st peters lie to me ( as I later found out he had lied to me about other things )

surrifox Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 I subscribe to the old adage that in life you should try everything at least once, the exceptions being incest and Morris dancing
Spee-d Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 "People have said that our children are disabled, but that is wrong. They are not disabled," said Patrick. "Eric, our eldest child, has epilepsy, but he was born two months premature, he also has learning difficulties. Our other daughter, Sarah, has special needs," Patrick said.
