Season tickets to be increased

If the ticket prices go up then Kelly must go and we need to see better footbal. Unless this happens they should pay us for a ticket.

I'm not sure thats actually what he is trying to say without saying it, but I have no doubts that they will be increased. I've said that that would happen from day one. The question remains; "How much will he increase them by?"

Year no real surprises there really. Id be happy to pay a little more if it meant i was watching a successful team every other week. May hold on until August though. See who the ins and outs are before I commit to a season ticket and to see what division we are in !!

I agree, I don't mind paying extra if I can see the improvements and we look like bringing in some quality.

I don't want them to go up too much though, to a point where I can't afford it.

Also I hope those fans that have stuck with us all this time don't get priced out just when things are starting to look up.

Wait and see... as soon as were safe from relegation it will all be made clear on prices, ticket arrangements, overheads, transfers... at least MM is moving the club in the right direction...

I won't be getting one for the first time in 12 years. It's not value for money-better hobbies can be done on a Saturday afternoon for less money.

I don't enjoy it as much any more-watching half the team not even trying week in week out makes me dread each home game.

And to be honest-I can't see this team going anywhere next season. Maybe they'll build a good base for promotion next season but I can't see us actually getting promoted next season so it'll be same old same old Championship rubbish. Maybe when we play better looking football or at least look like we care then I'll start thinking about another one.

And the Mercury is always giving away free tickets so it's annoying to pay up front for tickets when others are canny and are getting in cheaply (fan fixtures) or for free (competitions) most weeks.

I'd love to be proved wrong but I just don't think I will be.

I don't really see any conclusive evidence that he will increase them...

We can all agree that they won't go down, but I wouldn't mind them going up a bit, and thats what will probably happen

Over the course of the season, having a season ticket is far better value than going to most games whatever the prices.

"Together we can make it happen"

That is bound to be on the season ticket's next year. A bit like 'Were in it Together'.

Lets hope the price hike isnt too steep. Basically, we're investing in a business but from a business point of view, LCFC is about as attractive as Luke Chadwicks arse.

I'm not getting one. I'll spend my Season Ticket money on away games. And then if there is a complete turnaround in terms of form, personnel and the like, I'll consider going to the home games where tickets are heavily discounted/on special offer.

This attitude is what sets us apart from the real die hard fans of football, ie. Leeds, Man City etc. No matter how pants we play I'll always do my best to get down and support the boys. Yeah admittedly it pisses me off when we play poorly and lose and the overworked excuses from Kelly are heard and the rallying cries from the players, but all clubs go through bad times and ours are no worse than what Forest, Leeds, Man City, Sheff Wed have all been through.

If you can afford it then you should do your best to get behind the lads.

Or give £300 to a tramp and order him to dance around naked. About equal the entertainment value.

I'm seriously thinking of finding a team of my own to manage next season.

Rent-a-team seems worse and worse the more I see it - and Leicester City is moving further and further away from being anything to do with Leicester or the club that I once loved.

It is becoming part of travelling circus really - an invitation team with acts gathered from wherever they can be found at a loose end - experienced adults only.

The only reason to support City now is cos they play in Leicester...yet now Mega-rich Milan wants me to part with more money to support his rented outsiders - so he can bus in as many more flying pickets as he can and as are necessary to buy his adrenilin kick - his sporting Viagra.

And what has rent-a-team provided so far apart from resentment, I imagine, from the people whose places they have taken?. Not only six successive games without a win but the sort of entertainment that Thringstone and Friar Lane Old Boys could have bettered in my day.

Mandaric's no hero. He's a canny businessman, a chancer, who's hit on a formula that he believes will work ad infinitum and light up his declining years. Good luck to him if it happens.

But what has it got to do with me as a Leicester person and Leicester City fan?

City's players in the 60's were part of our everyday life. Wee Davie Gibson came from Hibernian and stayed in Enderby for the rest of his life until his recent retirement to the coast.

Ian King lived at the top of our road in Leicester Foest East, my dad was a youth club leader where Jeff Blockley hung out, Shilts and I were in the same scout troop, Howard Riley's been at Leicester for as long as I've known him, Rod Fern and Nishy hailed from North Leicestershire if memory serves and once played local football.

I don't remember rent-the-boots like Horsfield, Jarrett, Yeates and Newton turning up whenever we had a bad run in the 60's. The team simply played through it and came out the other side with any luck and we lived every moment with em.

It's not their fault but I look at those four loanees and really don't give a shit how they peform. They are sod-all to do with Leicester City as far as I am concerned, any more than Welsh or Glombard or Brevett when they turned up.

To me our club's abandoned all its principles and gone on the game....the modern game.

That's where the club pays biggish bucks - to get f....d by dicks that aren't up to it.

Milan Mandaric has today thanked supporters for their constructive comments regarding season ticket pricing for the 2007-08 campaign. Milan sent out an appeal to fans via the club's website in March asking for feedback from supporters on the issue.

And after analysing the hundreds of letters and emails that he received, Milan confirmed that he was now in the process of finalising his plans for the upcoming season.

He said: "I would like to first of all place on record my thanks to supporters for their feedback with regards to season ticket prices for next season.

"As you can imagine, we received a wide variety of responses. Some fans were happy to pay more for their tickets, some put forward arguments for prices to stay the same while others said they would prefer a decrease.

"Our plan is to now work on the figures and release our pricing for the 2007-08 season to supporters at the end of April.

"It is my aim to get this club back in the Premiership as soon as possible and I will make the investment in the team to give us the best chance possible of doing that.

"We have been some way behind our rivals in terms of the revenue that we have been able to generate through season tickets this year - and thus that has had an adverse effect on the investment that has been made on the squad.

"Our sole aim is to get this club back into the Premiership. That is our focus. It is where we should be.

"There are certainly going to be some exciting times ahead and I am personally looking forward to finally being able to invest in the playing squad over the summer.

"But it's not about me - it's about Leicester City Football Club. Our club.

"Together we can make it happen."

That sentence says unequivocally that prices are going up.

I for one don't buy this if we get better players and decent performances I don't mind paying more. Well I fooking well do we're paying enough now and have been for the last 3 years just because those toss-pots on £250K a year, yes you Adams, Levein, Kelly and most of all Davies couldn't/didn't make better use of £6mill worth of parachute payments along with record numbers of ST holders for LCFC in the Championship then I don't see why we should stump up to help them put it right.

Lets' see the fans getting some real value first, let's have a bit of cash on delivery rather than stumping up hundreds of pounds on an unknown product. Show me a good, successful season first then I'll consider showing some faith once again.

Bollocks to "Together we can make it happen." the fans have been trying for years where it counts with cash up front, no MM you make it happen and then I'll consider whether it's worth stumping up an increase

Prices will go up significantly (25%), linked in with reductions for existing fans when/if promotions is achieved. Best we can hope for I think.
