Collymore Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Could be the best ever player in the history of football? I don't think there's a word to sum up how good he is. Some of his tricks are out of this world. Would love to see him being man-marked by Pontus kaamark (the only benchmark that could give him a test)

This season he has gone to a whole different league and he's up there on his own at the minute.
City_4_Life Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Well his form this season has been absolutley brilliant, and he is alwaya going to improve.
JoeyB Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Micheal Carrick he's class to! him ronaldo and Rooney definitely in the top 10 players in the world on there day

C-man Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 I think Ronaldo is a genius. Carrick, I've never rated. Two top goals today though, still not worth £10 million, nevermind 18.

Samilktray Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Ive heard milans agreed a loan deal for him next season......
Flexx Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Top player now he's settled into the Premiership, when he first joined he looked a joke though doing all the stepovers and trickery but now he's just different class.
Finnegan Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Having watched quite a lot of Spanish football on Sky, I still think Ronaldinho at his best is better than Ronaldo. Ronaldo's end product has gotten much, much better this season and Ronaldinho is very off-form, but the Toothed one is just so incredibly creative and so dangerous from every situation. Ronaldo's good, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't call him the best in the world.
Simi Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 He is different class at the moment no doubt about that. Still so young aswell. I can't see him wanting to leave Manchester United until Fergie is done there. But after that he may want to move on to Spain I'm guessing. Would be a real loss to the Prem though.

As have a lot of Barcelona players. In fact as has the Standerd of Spains top teams in general.
MC Prussian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 What makes Ronaldo's efforts even more worthwile in my opinion, is the fact that he's almost ceased to moan and dive. Reminds of what Sidney Crosby has become in the NHL.
AyewJoking Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Ronaldo could walk into any team in the world, even Leicester if Stephen Hughes gets injured.

Geo V Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 ... at using his hands instead of his legs and being a fat tranny after retirement? One punch in doesnt mean he was any lesser player when it comes to footballing ability. If you are going to have a pop at players who have messed us up in World cups, then look no further than Ronaldo! Not only did he fook over a team mate but he runs about diving all over the place. Lets not get moralistic FFS! Maradona all day!

Lets not get moralistic FFS! Maradona all day! Maradona was an outstanding dribbler with a neat taste for scoring fantastic goals. Like Platini or Cruyff. So, saying that, I don't see why anyone would want to criticize Ronaldo for having been so childish in the past few years? I think he's grown up.
