Flynny Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 BBC Leicester's football reporter, Jon Barber, thinks City's recent poor run of form is the reason Kelly's time as manager has been brought to an end. Nice one, Barber.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Come on, it's been at least half an hour and we have had no sightings of Paul Ince driving down Raw Dykes Road or Marcello Lippi in the Megastore....
Master Fox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Others are reporting that the said person will not be welcome at Leicester. You just know in about 2 hours time everyone on here is going to angry and miserable about the outcome of this press conference

Stevosevic Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Leicester City have called a press conference for Wednesday afternoon amid rumours manager Rob Kelly has been sacked. Kelly has been under pressure at The Walkers Stadium following a run of eight games without a win, which has left The Foxes five points outside the relegation zone. Monday's 3-0 defeat at Plymouth Argyle was labelled the 'worst' display since Kelly took over from Craig Levein. He could now suffer the same fate as his predecessor as Levein left his post following Leicester's defeat at Plymouth last season. Though Leicester have made no comment on whether Kelly is leaving, a press conference has been called for 1pm. New owner Milan Mandaric put his faith in Kelly when he completed his takeover two months ago, but it appears he has already lost patience. Reports have suggested that Chris Coleman, sacked by Fulham late on Tuesday night, could be a contender to replace Kelly in the hot seat.

Thracian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Nice one, Barber. He was pretty critical Monday which was a sure sign they knew his time was up - he never dared to be really critical before. Left it to others, yes, but kept his own nose clean like the rest of the creeps. One day we'll have Leicester city reporters who tell it as it is instead of how Leicester management wants it told.

To be fair the fact that Rob Kelly comes across as such a decent bloke makes it hard for him to criticise him without the happy clappers getting on his back. After a 3-0 drubbing on an 8 match winless streak was the only time he really could lay into him.

MBK Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 No that he is gone, Kelly deserves to be praised. How about setting up a pension fund donation bank number for him?
Blue Bob Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 why 1.00 pm? its so late. if everything is sorted they should have it at 9 or 10. Coleman was sacked at midnight last night so maybe he needed a lie in???????
Brainy Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Reports have suggested that Chris Coleman, sacked by Fulham late on Tuesday night, could be a contender to replace Kelly in the hot seat. Woo...

MC Prussian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 When do you think we will find out the new manager???? It's the one Easter Egg you haven't managed to discover yet.
Leicfox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 hope your having a laugh, you go and ask Norwich fans what they think of Worthington. Oh i know him alright, i was an avid Blackpool supporter back in the day when he was manager there. He's awful and a disgrace to football management, Ive got a feeling it could be him though,
